Friends star Matt LeBlanc has paid an emotional tribute to his co-star Matthew Perry after his tragic death on Saturday, 28 October.
Matt played Joey Tribbiani in the American sitcom Friends alongside Matthew Perry, who was known for the fun and loveable character Chandler Bing.
Taking to Instagram Matt said: "It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.
"It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.
"Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love. And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."
Fans were quick to comment on Matt's tribute to his late friend and co-star, with one writing: "have tears! You 2 were the best acting best friends ever seen! I hope you’re ok, you gave us so much happiness and great moments! Thank you"
"I can’t even imagine how it must be hard for you… it broke me so how about you… He is in a better place now" added another, while a third penned: "We will never forget him, Matthew was one of those who made me laugh in the most difficult days."
Matt's tribute comes after he and his fellow Friends stars, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer shared a joint statement of mourning, in the days following Matthew's death.
In a statement to People Magazine, they said: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."
"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
They added: "In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
The Friends cast were among those in attendance at Matthew's funeral service on on 3 November, when the late actor's friends and family gathering to say their final goodbye at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Following the funeral service, there was a private burial, in which Matthe was laid to rest in the cemetery, which also served as the final resting place for Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, screen legend Bette Davis, and INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence.
