Beaming: George Clooney and his wife Amal looked in high spirits on Thursday evening when they were pictured out enjoying a lavish meal with pals in Moltrasio, Lake Como.

The natural beauty styled her long brunette locks in loose waves, while sporting a full face of glam makeup.

The couple tied the knot at a lavish ceremony in Venice in 2014 and the couple went on to welcome twins Alexander and Ella, four.

It comes after reports that George and Amal were reportedly set to splash out £6.8million (€7.9million) on a sprawling 425-acre estate in the south of France.

The property is located in Brignoles in the Var, known as Domaine de Canadel, which boasts a swimming pool, tennis court and a 25-acre (10-hectare) vineyard.

The stunning historic house is also thought to be just a stone’s throw from George’s fellow Hollywood star and Oceans’ co-star Brad Pitt’s Château Miraval in Correns, meaning the pals would be neighbours while in Europe.

Set on 425 acres (172 hectares) the 18th century main house is thought to be spread out over three stories to provide ample space and was been remodelled in the 1990s by architect Bruno Lafourcade, reports Dirt.

Sweet: Amal gave a rare insight into her marriage with Hollywood star George, admitting she ‘feels lucky to have found a great love’

After being included in TIME’s 12 Women of The Year issue recently, Amal spoke to the magazine about her driving force behind work, noting: ‘With everything going on today, I want to have a good answer when [my twins ] ask me what I was doing.’

She went on to discuss her partnership with George, gushing: ‘Marriage has been wonderful.

‘I have in my husband a partner who is incredibly inspirational and supportive, and we have a home filled with love and laughter. It is a joy beyond anything I could ever have imagined.

‘I feel so lucky to have found a great love in my life, and to be a mother – this is how I get my balance.  In terms of an increased public profile, I think all I can do is try to turn the spotlight to what is important. That can definitely benefit some clients.’

George previously revealed how he knew that Amal was ‘The One’.

He said on a podcast: ‘The truth was, I met this amazing woman and she took my breath away. She was brilliant and funny and beautiful and kind. I was sort of swept off my feet.

‘We got engaged after a few months and got married within the first year that we met. It surprised me more than anybody else in the world and everybody else was surprised.’
