Gordon Ramsay ‘proud’ of daughter Megan as he shares sweet snap for her birthday

Chef and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay has shared a picture of his eldest daughter Megan to celebrate her 24th birthday.

Gordon, 55, took to Instagram on Monday to share a touching tribute to his eldest child, posting a sweet photo of the two of them cosied up together.

In the caption the Hell's Kitchen star wrote: "Happy birthday to this gorgeous lady @megan_ramsay

"Words can't describe enough how proud you make me feel every day, have a fantastic time in Vancouver can't wait to see you to celebrate your special day, love you so much Dad."

Fans were quick to offer Megan well wishes for her special day.

One fan commented: "Happy birthday @megan_ramsay I hope your day is filled with awesomeness x".

Another said: "Happy birthday! Enjoy Canada."

Fans were also joined in wishing Megan a happy birthday by the TV personality's celebrity friends.

Former professional footballer David Beckham said: "Happy birthday @megan_ramsay"

Author Rashmi Uday Singh commented with a string of heart emojis.

Megan's mum Tana also shared a heart-warming photo of Megan as a baby next to one of her all grown up to celebrate the special day.

The 47 year old said: "HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY MEGGIE!!!

"Hurry home now you have been away too long and we miss you! Love you so much, not sure how time between these two photos has gone so fast… But feel blessed to have shared it all with you x"

Gordon and Tana have been married since 1996 and share five children; Megan, 22 year old twins Jack and Holly, 20 year old Tilly and Oscar, three.

Megan is a psychology graduate and currently works as an account executive at PR agency Freuds.

Last year Gordon and Tana celebrated their landmark 25th wedding anniversary.

Gordon recently confessed to finding Megan's boyfriend "pathetic" during an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

He said that he is underwhelmed by her partner's and wants her to be "looked after".

The TV chef said: "I just want the girls to be looked after, and them to look after each other so you're always anxious about that."
