The tent may have served as the site of the couple’s reception. Though small, it was beautifully decorated with a small number of tables and floral decorations.

Photos also showed more seating available outside, where chic umbrellas shaded various tables scattered nearby.

People could be seen milling about as they prepared to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs.

The chapel Blake and Gwen had tied the knot at was built by the country crooner himself with ‘input’ from the No Doubt songstress.

‘Blake built a chapel on the grounds of his Oklahoma ranch. He did it himself with help,’ a source told Us Weekly in December 2020.

‘It’s really a tribute to their love. They are going to get married in the chapel, most likely early next year.’

Blake proposed to Gwen in October 2020 after five years together and first meeting on The Voice back in 2015.

The couple filed for a marriage license in Oklahoma on Thursday, according to TMZ.

While the nuptials will be taking place over the Fourth Of July weekend, sources have told the site that the couple don’t plan on going all out.

Instead of a big bash, they’ll be sticking with an intimate affair for family and close friends, which will also be safer as the novel coronavirus continues to spread and the more contagious delta variant makes its way across the country.

The doesn’t mean it won’t be intricately planned, though. In May, Blake joked to USA Today that it would be a ‘pretty classless wedding’ if he planned it, which was why Gwen was taking charged.

‘I want her to do all of that stuff and handle it because it’s going to be great. She’s in the middle of planning the thing, and she’s always so mindful … of me,’ he continued. ‘She’s like, ‘Hey, I don’t want to just take this thing over.’ I think she’s having a blast doing it. I mean, I know she’s having a blast doing it.’

Blake and Gwen’s romance goes back to 2015, when they struck up a relationship while working together on The Voice.

At the time, both singers were coming off heartbreaks.

In July of that year, Blake and his then-wife Miranda Lambert announced that they were divorcing after four years of marriage and almost a decade together.

Gwen had her own marital split when she announced her divorce from Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale in August 2015 after two decades together and nearly 13 years of marriage.

He decided he was ready to move forward on October 27, 2020, when the two announced their engagement.

Blake has been married twice before Gwen.

The country singer was previously married to his high school sweetheart and road manager Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006.

It had been rumored Blake had cheated on Kaynette with his second wife, Miranda Lambert, whom he married in 2011. The couple divorced in 2015.

GWEN AND BLAKE: THE EX FILES

GWEN’S PAST LOVES:

Tony Ashwin Kanal, 1987 to 1994

Gwen dated her No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal from 1987 until 1994, when he ended their relationship. The singer went on to write one of the band’s biggest hits, Don’t Speak, about their breakup.

‘We were on tour for Tragic Kingdom for 28 months. We were going through the breakup, and in every interview we were talking about it so we were opening this wound on an hourly basis. It was so brutal but I don’t know how we made it through,’ Tony, 50, told The Guardian in 2012.

Gavin Rossdale, 1995 to 2015

The songstress met Bush frontman Gavin in 1995 and they dated for seven years before getting married in 2002.

In 2004 their marriage was rocked by the bombshell news that Gavin had fathered a daughter, Daisy Lowe, during a one-night stand with friend Pearl Lowe in the late 1980s.

Gwen and Gavin went on to have three children, sons Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, seven.

In August 2015 the couple divorced following rumors the British musician had cheated with the family’s nanny Mindy Mann.

In a joint statement they said: ‘While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.’

Gwen later opened up about ‘torturing’ herself for months before she uncovered the alleged affair. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said: ‘Everybody knows what happened next… I obviously know the date.

‘It was the beginning of hell. Like six, seven, eight months of torture, trying to figure out this big secret.’

She added that she wanted to ‘tell everybody,’ but kept quiet about what was going on for the sake of her children.

Gwen went on: ‘What happened was praying. That’s my childhood, that’s how I was raised. And I think I strayed from that. But you know when it gets that bad, you just get desperate?’

BLAKE’S PAST LOVES:

Kaynette Williams

The country singer married his high school sweetheart and road manager Kaynette Williams in a small ceremony in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in 2003.

Blake was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006

The marriage only lasted three years, with Kaynette accusing the singer of being ‘guilty of inappropriate marital conduct.’ in her 2006 divorce filing.

It’s rumored Blake cheated on Kaynette with fellow country singer Miranda Lambert who he went on to marry.

Blake talked about falling for Miranda when they performed on stage together in 2005.

In one interview he confessed: ‘I’ve never had that kind of experience with anybody. I was a married guy, you know? Looking back on that, I was falling in love with her, right there on stage.’

Miranda Lambert, 2005 to 2015

Blake went public with Miranda after his divorce was finalized in 2006.

Of feeling the same spark that Blake did when they performed a duet together in 2005, Miranda told Dateline in 2011: ‘I knew he was married. I had seen their wedding pictures in Country Weekly. I knew better, like, ‘this is off-limits’.

Blake married Miranda Lambert in 2011 after nearly six years of dating

Blake proposed to Miranda in May 2010 during a romantic stroll near Miranda’s Oklahoma ranch. After nearly six years together, the couple married in 2011 at a ranch in Boerne, Texas.

But it wasn’t to be, as four years later in 2015 they announced their decision to split.

‘This is not the future we envisioned,’ their reps told Us Weekly at the time. ‘And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.’

While the musicians never commented on the reason for their divorce, rumors have long swirled that cheating – on one or both of their parts – may have played a role.

Blake cryptically tweeted about ‘karma’ in 2018 after reports emerged alleging that Miranda had begun dating musician Evan Felker when he was still married.
