Inside fashion designer Lïllïan Khallouf and Moei Elayoubi’s breathtaking, no-expense-spared wedding at iconic MONA in Tasmania
Lïllïan Khallouf is one of Sydney’s most in-demand fashion designers.
And on Sunday, she proved to be her own best advertisement at her outrageously spectacular wedding to Moei Elayoubi, which was held at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart, Tasmania.
In exquisite photos captured by Shayben from Siempre Weddings, Lïllïan and Moei certainly spared no expense to ensure their big day was one to remember forever.

The larger than life designer dazzled in a figure-hugging silk gown, with a sweetheart neckline and ribbon detailing at the back.
The unusual ensemble was truly one of a kind, showing off Lïllïan’s svelte waist to perfection while adding a layer of elegance with a delicate silk train that floated behind her.
The socialite accessorised with black gloves and an elegant pearl necklace.
She wore her curly blonde hair up, and enhanced her striking features with a radiant foundation, matte eye-shadow and peach glossy lip colour.

Ensuring he looked just as sophisticated as his gorgeous wife, the handsome groom wore a black shirt and matching tailored pants, paired with a cropped white jacket.
Lïllïan’s bridesmaids looked elegant in floor-length black gowns which they teamed with elbow-length white gloves.
The flower girls continued the monochrome theme by wearing collared dresses with red bows in their hair.
Like Lïllïan’s taste in fashion, the iconic venue had it all; sophistication, excitement and one-of-a-kind beauty.
The newlyweds said ‘I do’ in one of MONA’s epic rooms, with guests seated on transparent chairs as they watched the couple unite in front of an artistic wooden backdrop.

Guests were then taken to be seated at a seemingly never-ending long table, complete with a pretty centerpiece that trailed the entire length of the dining area.
The reception room was practically a work of art, with romantic red lighting allowing the museum’s iconic exposed mountain walls to glow while guests enjoyed their meals.
After what appeared to be a vast selection of delicious middle-eastern foods, Lïllïan and her guests took to the dance floor while a DJ played club hits.
Referencing the fact the wedding was taking place in a gallery, the couple welcomed their guests with a cheeky sign that read: ‘F**k art, let’s party.’

Meanwhile, there were several celebrity guests in attendance, including Gogglebox Australia star Jad Nehmetallah.
Originally, the pair were supposed to marry at the end of a spectacular yellow runway that was placed outside of the venue, but Lillian revealed they had to forfeit the design ‘due to the weather’.
MONA is the largest privately funded museum in the Southern Hemisphere and is located on the outskirts of Hobart.
Part of the museum is built underground and into the side of the cliffs around the Berriedale Peninsula.

Lïllïan is one of Australia’s most popular bridalwear designers, and is known for her focus on elegance and craftmanship.
Her designs are incredibly popular amongst Australian socialites including Bec Judd, Pip Edwards and Sam Armytage.
Speaking to Bed Threads about her career in June last year, Lillian described herself as a ‘natural creative’ in the studio.
‘I’m a natural creative, therefore my designs allow me to express my mood and thoughts,’ she said.
‘I consciously work around my values and ethics when it comes to the process, how [the garments are] perceived and connect to the wearer.
‘The LK woman is intelligent and sophisticated so it pleases me to deliver her needs.’
