Cara off the booze… Liv Tyler flirting… Leo leaving solo… and one VERY unimpressed wife: Our well-placed spy inside Stella McCartney’s star-studded Adidas party gives a gloriously gossipy report from the glitzy LA event
- Designer Stella, 51, held a party to celebrate her latest collaboration with Adidas
- It was attended by several A-listers, including Orlando Bloom and Liv Tyler
- Now, DailyMail.com’s insider shares all the gossip you need to know from the star-studded ‘roller disco’ celebration
Awards season continues this weekend with the Grammy Awards on Sunday – and fashion designer Stella McCartney set the bar high for pre-ceremony parties last night when she hosted a star-studded roller disco for a host of celebrity guests in LA.
Sporting white roller skates (most) guests glided elegantly around the rink, which was located at the famed Henson recording studio in celebration of Stella’s latest collaboration with Adidas.
The crème de la crème of musicians and actors were there – but it was guest of honor Sir Paul McCartney, Stella’s 80-year-old father, who was the star attraction.
Arriving with his elegant wife Nancy Shevell, 63, Sir Paul was on top form as he supported his daughter’s new collection.
Foo Fighters guitarist Dave Grohl, 54, seemed to take umbrage when a guest asked him how it feels to meet a bigger rock star than him, curtly quipping: ‘I’ve met him a few times actually.’
Stella McCartney hosted a star-studded party in Los Angeles last night – and our insider is now revealing all the gossip from the glitzy event
Liv Tyler was making her single status apparent as she flirted outrageously with a host of men
Orlando Bloom spent most of the night propping up the bar with his pal Leonardo DiCaprio – who managed to avoid photographers, but was seen being eyed by women during the event
Leo, 48, did not pay the women any attention – and may in fact be off the market given that he was spotted out on the town with Israeli model Eden Polani just a few days ago (pictured)
Meanwhile, Liv Tyler was making her single status apparent as she flirted outrageously with a host of men – even chatting with famed Hollywood lothario Leonardo Di Caprio.
Having split with football agent Dave Gardiner two years ago, the actress let her hair down for the evening with a group of giggly girlfriends in tow. But I fear at 45, Liv may be too old for Leo who famously only dates women under the age of 25.
And speaking of Leo, he arrived at the party sans his usual entourage.
Managing to carouse his way about the party, the actor settled for a drink at the bar with fellow on-screen star Orlando Bloom, 46, whose partner Katy Perry was nowhere to be seen.
As the two men descended into a deep conversation they remained oblivious to the plethora of nubile ladies encircling the bar area in which they were standing.
It may be that Leo, 48, is in fact off the market – given that he was pictured out on the town with Israeli model Eden Polani just a few days ago… but either way, it was no cigar for any of the ladies hoping to win Leo’s affections and the actor was seen making a solo exodus at the end of the night.
As well as a host of Hollywood elite, several of the industry’s best-known nepo babies were also out in force with Paris Jackson, 24, and Georgia May Jagger, 29, leading the pack.
Jagger arrived with her skateboarder boyfriend Cambryan Sedlick, 21, and while the pair are clearly smitten with one another, the model couldn’t resist making fun of her boyfriend’s unusual moniker, joking: ‘At least you know nobody else has your name- you are unique!’
Supermodel Cara Delevingne (pictured before the event) appeared somewhat subdued – which may well have been to do with the fact that she avoided alcohol all night

An embarrassing moment ensued for Bruce Willis’s animated daughter Scout (left), who attended with sister Tallulah (right) – and was left looking bewildered when Cara blanked her
After shocking the world with a series of erratic antics last year – when she went viral for harassing Megan Thee Stallion at the Billboard Awards and raised fears about her safety when she arrived at an airport in her socks – supermodel Cara Delevingne appeared somewhat subdued.
That may well have been to do with the fact that the 30-year-old actress – who has become famous for her energetic shenanigans at events – was imbibing non-alcoholic drinks all evening…
Her rumored squeeze, photographer Savannah McMillan, barely left her side all night as they danced along to a performance by Beth Ditto from rock band Gossip.
Meanwhile, an embarrassing moment ensued for Bruce Willis’s animated daughter Scout Willis, who looked bewildered when Cara blanked her.
The awkward scene unfolded while 31-year-old Scout and her sister Tallulah – who was wearing a dress made of tinsel – tore up the dancefloor as Ditto’s performance reached its crescendo. Scout made an attempt to pull Cara in for a chat but was left red-faced when the supermodel ignored her.
Luckily Anya Taylor-Joy and Ivy Getty gave Scout some face time in the aftermath.
When Muse frontman Matt Bellamy chatted to a blonde woman at the party, his model wife of three years, Ella Evans , looked decidedly unimpressed
Kate Hudson attended the afterparty along with Stella, Liv and Dave Grohl, and by the end of the evening sozzled guests were having great difficulty staying upright on their skates
But it wasn’t just Scout who experienced a snub.
When Muse frontman Matt Bellamy chatted to a blonde woman at the party, his model wife of three years, Ella Evans, looked decidedly unimpressed.
Ella stood glaring at Matt, 44, from afar, but he seemed clueless to the fact his wife had been left standing alone. The couple left the party shortly after she wrenched her husband away.
Despite the exodus of Matt and Ella, 33, the glittering event roared on until the early hours.
Kate Hudson (Matt’s ex) attended the afterparty along with Stella, Liv and Dave, and by the end of the evening sozzled guests were having great difficulty staying upright on their skates.
But I’m happy to report there were no serious accidents.
