The songstress is famous for her incredibly successful singing career and her brief fling with David Bowie.

In 2019 she revealed she was in love with him in the seventies.

Speaking Lorraine, the star opened up about her liaison with the late Heroes hitmaker, who died in 2016, saying the pair shared a ‘unique relationship’.

She said: ‘I had a little bit of a thing about him I would say. And it was reciprocal.’

She added they had ‘snogged’ and when asked by Ross King if she had been in love with the Starman singer, she revealed: ‘Maybe for a minute, yeah.’

The Shout hitmaker has previously discussed her romance with Bowie in her autobiography, I Don’t Want To Fight and in a 2017 interview with Weekend Magazine.

The pair collaborated on 1974 track, The Man Who Sold The World. David invited her to record with him at his chateau-based studio in France, with the pair ending up in bed together, even though he famously told her she could do with losing weight.

‘He wasn’t suggesting I should lose weight because he fancied me more that way,’ she pointed out in her book. ‘It was more a professional observation. He was one of the pioneers of the emaciated, heroin-chic look and he thought it would help my career. It was typical of David.’

The singer has been married twice, first to Bee Gee Maurice Gibb in 1969 and then to hairdresser John Frieda, who is the father of her son Jordan, 43.
