Jane Fonda names her BEST kisser

Jane Fonda – who has been married three times and played the love interest to A-listers Robert Redford and Robert De Niro – names her BEST kisser

They say you never forget your first kiss.

And after three marriages and co-starring with Hollywood heartthrobs like Robert Redford and Robert De Niro, Jane Fonda certainly has not forgotten hers.

‘I’ve never had a kiss like that ever since,’ the 83-year-old actress said during an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as she described her best kiss ever.

First kiss: ‘I’ve never had a kiss like that ever since,’ the 83-year-old actress said during an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in April 2021

Turns out her best kiss ever was not with her three husbands or the previously mentioned A listers.

The acting legend explained that she met her first and best kisser when she was performing summer stock in Hyannis Port, Maine when she was only 18-years-old.

‘I had a crush on the stage manager, whose name was James Franciscus,’ she told Jimmy, 46. ‘The audience is too young to know who that was. He became the star of Mr. Novak on TV.’

Too hot to handle: Fallon appeared flustered and began to fan himself as Fonda described her romantic recollection of the passionate smooch

‘Holy moly, I’ve never heard a story like that,’ the TV host responded. ‘I feel like I had my first kiss.

‘It was like Hemingway in the Sun Also Rises,’ Jane concluded. ‘The earth shook.’

Jimmy cracked, ‘I’m going to make sure my wife isn’t watching tonight.’

And that wasn’t the only first Jane experienced with James. Fonda revealed that she had lost her virginity to him at age 18 in her autobiography My Life So Far. Franciscus went on to star in feature films and TV shows before passing away in 1991.

Fonda cemented her status as a sex symbol in 1968 when she starred in Barbarella, a science fiction film directed by Vadim. That year, she also gave birth to their daughter Vanessa.

The couple separated in 1972 and Jane married activist Tom Hayden in 1973, three days after her marriage to Roger was finalized. The Academy Award-winning actress and Tom had their son Troy six month later.

On December 21, 1991, the Oscar winner married her third husband, media tycoon and the founder of CNN, Ted Turner. Their marriage officially ended after 10 years.

The Grace And Frankie star recently told Page Six that she isn’t planning fourth trip down the aisle.

‘ll tell you something that I haven’t achieved, which is a successful marriage,’ Fonda said in a virtual conversation ahead of the 2021 Golden Globes. ‘But the second part of your question is, “Do you want to?” I don’t want to.’

‘See I live by myself. I don’t have any guy who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be angry, and who doesn’t want a woman who is willing to be angry and stand up,

‘I’m not threatening anybody. I can watch whatever I want on TV. So I don’t ever want to be married again,’ She added, ‘But it’s something I wish I’d been better at.’
