Jennifer Garner makes cookies from scratch for ER doctors and nurses as she urges fans to show some love to first responders ‘still in the thick of it’

Jennifer Garner showed her gratitude to a group of doctors and nurses in Los Angeles by making them chocolate chip cookies by scratch on Sunday.

In a bid to cheer up a team of frontline workers, who have worked tirelessly through the COVID-19 pandemic, the 49-year-old Yes Day actress delivered some delicious baked goods to LAC+USC Medical Center. 

The mom-of-three, who is a Save the Children ambassador, shared behind-the-scenes footage of herself in the kitchen wrapping up the treats before bringing them to an emergency room.

Beyond documenting her time in the kitchen, Garner could be seen in her recording distributing the cookies to those serving in one of the busiest public hospitals on the West Coast.

‘I appreciate you!’ she told one of the staffers, before proceeding to shower the rest with fist bumps, hugs and praise.

She appeared more than happy to take photos and selfies with the doctors and nurses, who seemed overjoyed by her presence and special delivery. 

As they all kept their facial coverings on, at all times, amid the recent surge of coronavirus cases due to the fast-moving Omicron variant, one person assured Garner they were ‘all smiling’ behind their face masks. 

‘Me too!’ the 13 Going on 30 cheerfully replied.
