Jennifer Lopez performs duet and introduces child Emme using they/them pronouns: ‘They’re my favorite duet partner of all time’

Jennifer Lopez performed a duet her ‘favorite duet partner,’ this week, her 14-year-old child Emme.

The 52-year-old superstar was performing at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala on Thursday at Dodgers  Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Grammy winner was wearing a pair of green high waist pants, a bra top and matching feathered coat when she introduced her special guest using they/them pronouns.

‘The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t. So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy. Booked. And pricey,’ she joked.

‘They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me,’ the Marry Me actress said while calling her partner to the stage.

Emme was dressed in bright pink knee length shorts and a matching button down shirt with pink sock, black ankle boots and a large sports cap.

The I’m Real artist shares Emme and their twin, Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 53.

The young singer carried a rainbow colored microphone as they started out the mother and child rendition of Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years for the annual fundraising event which raises funds for education, health care, homelessness and social justice issues in the City of Angels.

A video of the loving introduction on TikTok shared by Christina the Supermom has been viewed nearly 50 thousand times.

Fans on social media are praising Jennifer for lovingly introducing her child with they/them pronouns.
