Jermain Defoe and his girlfriend Alisha LeMay look closer than ever as they enjoy a romantic date after sparking engagement rumours
Jermain Defoe appeared closer than ever with his girlfriend Alisha LeMay on Tuesday as they enjoyed a romantic date in Hampstead, north London.
The former England footballer, 40, who recently sparked engagement rumours with the personal shopper, 31, was seen strolling through the leafy village.
Alisha has been linked to Jermain since the start of the year, just weeks after his marriage to Donna Tierney fell apart. Donna has since accused him of cheating on her during their short-lived union.
But stepping out with his new girlfriend, the sportsman wore a white Dior T-shirt with grey leather trousers and white trainers.
Meanwhile, Alisha flashed her toned midriff in a khaki crop top that she teamed with a pair of loose fitting black jeans.

She also toted a black Chanel bag in arm and finished her look with casual black and white trainers.
The couple appeared relaxed and at ease with each other as they strolled along the high street and made a stop at a Crepe stand for a bite to eat.
PDA certainly wasn’t lacking between the loved-up couple, as Jermain wrapped his arm around Alisha as they strolled along the high street.
In an explosive Instagram post in March, the athlete’s heartbroken ex Donna, 40, shared a picture of a card as she accused the love rival of making a ‘desperate’ attempt to win her husband’s affections.
The card read: ‘Hard work, Happy 40th Birthday my gorgeous, i’d bake you a cake if I knew how to use the oven 🙂 can’t wait to do life with you.
‘Love you more than selfridges, leesh xxxx.’
Jermain turned 40 on October 7 last year, four months after he tied the knot with Donna in a lavish £200,000 wedding.
Donna said of the note: ‘Marriage is meant to be doing life with someone.’

She then shared a lengthy message and noted the impact it had on her family, stating: ‘It’s not just me it’s upsetting it’s my daughter, my family, the 360 guests – our nearest and dearest who witnessed us taking our vows.
‘It was a marriage, the biggest commitment you make to someone and the brutal truth is and I don’t use this word lightly she was indeed a homeworker so for her to act the way she has so publicly is beyond us all.
‘I don’t do drama or like to air my dirty laundry in public but it comes to a point you need to stand up for yourself and the ones you love because enough is enough!’
Donna continued: ‘l’ve got a good heart, but l’m certainly not weak. And just to clarify it’s no woman’s fault, I stand with women not against.’
She also shared a post that read: ‘Don’t taunt fire. You never know when it might sting you back.’
Donna then shared a series of posts Alisha made previously, including a picture of the influence wearing what appeared to be a Tottenham Hotspur tracksuit – the team Jermain coaches.
Another post was a selfie shared by Alisha captioned: ‘Um obviously I know I am the better option.’
Other posts were lyrics to Stormzy’s I Got My Smile Back and Lie About Us by Avant.
Jermain, who wed Donna last summer, spent Christmas on the Caribbean island of St Lucia while Donna was back in freezing Glasgow.

Jermain – who played for a string of clubs during a 22-year career including Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Rangers – was pictured on holiday without his wedding ring while Donna had gone back to using her maiden name.
The last photograph she posted with Jermain on social media was when the pair dressed up for a night out with friends October 30.
She went on to unfollow her husband on social media and both of them removed images of the OK! Magazine cover that featured their £200,000 wedding last June.
In June, Jermain and his new girlfriend sparked engagement rumours on Saturday as she wore a noticeable new ring for a date night in London.
They are also reportedly moving in together into a £3million mansion in Hertfordshire, according to The Sun.
