And Joan Collins, 87, revealed her striking looks have been passed down to her granddaughter as she showed off their similarities in a sweet snap.
Alongside a throwback snap aged 20, the actress shared a picture of her 16-year-old grandchild Ava as she marvelled at their likeness.

Joan looked radiant in a picture taken from her 1955 film, Land of the Pharaohs, in which she donned an embellished gold headband and eye-catching necklace.
Ava – who is the daughter of her son Alexander [Sacha] Newley – chanelled her grandmother in a yellow top and chunky necklace, also painting her face with cat eyeliner.
Joan captioned the shot: ‘My beautiful #granddaughter Ava Grace Newley at 16 looking a lot like me at 20 #lookalikes #appledoesntfallfarfromthetree’.

While Joan seemingly has a wonderful relationship with her granddaughter, there has been tension with her son Alexander, 55.
In his 2017 memoir, Unaccompanied Minor, Alexander revealed his drastic decision to abandon his mother after she was ‘out of work, out of cash and facing blackmail’.
He also described his mother as a ‘narcissist’ who had virtually abandoned him and his sister to pursue fame.
He described how his parents were ‘enslaved’ to the demands of their careers and said his father ‘depended on the promise of an after-show tryst with a starlet or groupie’.
The artist said his mother’s obsession with fame put a strain on their relationship but he later became close to her. He has previously claimed he discussed the book with her, adding: ‘She has read it and likes it very much.’
Alexander also described his father Anthony as ‘flagrantly unfaithful’ and ‘a sex addict’.

Anthony Newley was the second of Dame Joan’s five husbands. The couple married in 1963 and divorced in 1971, after welcoming daughter Tara and son Alexander. He married four times in total.
He was best known for his role as the Artful Dodger in the 1948 film version of Oliver Twist.
Following her marriage to Anthony , Dame Joan went on to marry American businessman Ron Kass – with whom she has a daughter – and Swedish singer Peter Holm.
In 2002 she married her current husband Percy Gibson, who is 32 years her junior.
