Joe Biden’s Dogs Removed From White House After Reported ‘Biting Incident’

Major and Champ, the German Shepherds that belong to President Biden and his wife Jill Biden, have been returned to their family home in Delaware following aggressive behavior toward a member of the White House security.

AceShowbiz -Joe Biden is losing two of his loyal companions at the White House. The president’s dogs Major and Champ have reportedly been kicked out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue after displaying aggressive behavior toward a member of the White House security.

Per CNN’s report, the said “biting incident” involved Major, the younger of President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden’s two German Shepherds. Both dogs were reportedly subsequently returned to the Biden family home in Wilmington, Delaware last week.

The exact condition to the condition is unknown as the White House has not responded to a request for comment on the report.

Major, who is 3 years old, was adopted by Biden and his wife from an animal rescue in 2018, making him the first ever rescue dog to live in the White House. According to sources in the know about the dog’s demeanor at the White House, Major has been known to display agitated behavior on multiple occasions, including jumping, barking and “charging” at staff and security, prior to the alleged “biting incident.”

Meanwhile, Champ, who is 13 years old, has slowed down physically due to his advanced age. Champ has been with the couple since 2008. Both Champ and Major moved into the White House in January, less than a week after Biden’s inauguration.

First Lady Jill Biden recently shared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” how their dogs adapted into their new home. “I’ve been getting obsessed with getting our dogs settled because we have an old dog and we have a very young dog,” she told Kelly Clarkson on the singer’s talk show last month. “They have to take the elevator, they’re not used to that, and they have to go out on the South Lawn with lots of people watching them. So that’s what I’ve been obsessed with, getting everybody settled and calm.”
