Joe Swash calls in professional cleaning team after kids ‘go mad’ and wreck his mancave

Joe Swash called in professional cleaners on Monday after his and Stacey Solomon’s kids “went mad” and trashed his mancave on bonfire night.

Joe, 40, celebrated firework night this year alongside his wife, Stacey, and her sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, and his kids with Stacey; Rex, three, and one year old Rose.

The happy family made toffee apples and pears after Stacey, 33, spotted the genius idea on Pinterest, but now it appears as if the sugar went straight to the kids’ heads, resulting in a very messy mancave.

Taking to Instagram, the former King of the I’m a Celeb jungle said: “After fireworks night, the kids went mad in here, in the old mancave.

“Stacey’s asked me to tidy it up, so there’s only one team I can call Hyperclean.”

The video shows at least two cleaners at Pickle cottage, with one hoovering a cushion near Joe.

“Go on boys, you can do it,” he added, before saying: “Ah look at that, magic! Give us a smile.”

Earlier this week, Stacey showcased a genius hack for making old sofas look brand new, and fans were pleased to find that it only costs £28.

“Time to put the sofa covers on. When it gets really rainy, we just put sofa covers on so that we don’t get the sofas covered in muddy paw prints,” the Loose Women panellist wrote on top of an Instagram story.

The clip showed Joe wrestling with the cream sofa cover with Rex next to the family dogs, Teddy and Peanut.

She added: “No one likes this job, but omg it's so satisfying to sit and watch.”

In another story, Stacey showed the full transformation and wrote: “Soooo many of you asking where these are from. They’re from Amazon but I just looked and the price has shot up for some reason so I’ve found a similar set it’s called ‘Luxurlife high stretch sofa cover beige’ & it’s £28.

“I won’t link it because they’ll hike up their prices which I HATE.”

Fans of Stacey’s design aesthetic won’t be surprised that she crowded the sofa with matching cream cushions, some with frayed detailing around the edges.

While most fans are obsessed with the singer’s light and airy approach to home decoration, design expert Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen previously branded her style “incredibly cold.”

In an exclusive interview, he told OK!: “Suddenly, everybody’s looking at coordinating with the likes of Posh and Becks to get the ‘Stacey Solomon grey’ look. It’s incredibly cold.

“I want people to know how to create a warm, loving space in which they can recharge as well as feel safe and looked after,” the designer, 57, added.
