Rust director Joel Souza, 48, is out of hospital following an accidental shooting on the set in New Mexico, involving Alec Baldwin, 63. The actor accidentally shot dead cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42.

Actress Frances Fisher, who is one of the stars of Rust, shared the update on Twitter.
She made the comment in response to Patricia Arquette who had expressed her sadness for Hutchins family.
She tweeted to her 537,700 followers: “My heart goes out to Halyna Hutcins family.
“What a heartbreaking loss. Sending prayers to Joel Souza.
“I’m sure everyone is devastated.”
Frances then replied: “Director Joel Souza told me he’s out of hospital.”
In a separate tweet, she also shared: “Director Joel Souza was released hours ago from the hospital.”
Kate Garraway also shared the news on Good Morning Britain this morning that Joel is out of hospital as they discussed the events.

Police are still investigating the incident at Bonanza Creek Ranch, a popular filming location, and no charges have been filed.
In a statement to AFP news agency, a Santa Fe sheriff spokesman said Alec had spoken to detectives.
“He came in voluntarily and he left the building after he finished his interviews,” the spokesman said.
According to her personal website, Halyna was from Ukraine and grew up on a Soviet military base in the Arctic Circle.
She studied journalism in Kyiv, and film in Los Angeles, and was named a “rising star” by the American Cinematographer magazine in 2019.
Police said sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Bonanza Creek Ranch at around 13:50 local time (19:50 GMT) after receiving an emergency call about a shooting on set.
Alec is a co-producer of the film and plays its namesake, an outlaw whose 13-year-old grandson is convicted of an accidental killing.
