Jonah Hill and Lauren London are said to have had a ‘fake kiss’ created by CGI in their new rom com You People.
Their comedian co-star Andrew Shulz relayed the anecdote on The Brilliant Idiots, the podcast he co-hosts with Charlamagne Tha God.
‘I don’t even know if I should share this s*** but the final scene, they don’t even kiss. It’s CGI,’ Andrew, 39, said to an incredulous response from Charlamagne.
‘Swear to God, son. I’m there, I’m watching the wedding and I see them going for the kiss and their faces stop like this far,’ he went on, holding his hands inches apart.
‘And I’m like: “I wonder how they’re gonna play that in the movie – oh, they’re probably just gonna cut right there.” But the movie, you can see their faces come close and then you can see their faces morph a little bit into a fake kiss.’

Hill and London can be seen going in for a kiss.
And when they do lock lips, it is a little blurry between their mouths as confetti falls all around them.
Directed by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, who co-wrote the script with Jonah, the movie follows a romance between a white Jewish man and a black Muslim woman.
There is tension that breaks out between their families.
Eddie Murphy and Nia Long play the parents of Lauren’s character Amira.
And Jonah’s character Ezra has parents played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny.
Andrew secured a role as Ezra’s cousin Avi.
The star-studded supporting cast ranges from Elliott Gould and Rhea Perlman to Yung Miami and La La Anthony.

The movie dropped on Netflix on January 27.
It sharply divided the critics to the tune of a 43% current rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Filming on You People began in October 2021, according to Backstage.
This comes two and a half years after Lauren’s longtime love Nipsey Hussle was murdered.
Lauren, who has one son with Nipsey and another with Lil Wayne, declared last year that she was not looking for another man.

While on the IRL podcast, she shared her theory that ‘a lot’ of relationships are ‘ego-driven and they’re not pure.
‘So why would I take myself, in this vulnerable state, into my ego when I’m trying to get out of it? I’m in “death of the ego” space.
‘Why do I need another – why? Does that make my life complete?’
Although she and Nipsey ‘had pure love,’ she said, ‘that does not mean that we were not human and our egos did not get attached into aspects of our relationship.’
