The Zack Snyder cut of Justice League is coming!
A trailer for the highly anticipated re-cut of the 2017 film, set to hit HBO Max on March 18, arrived on Sunday (February 14).
The teaser for the upcoming feature includes more of Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and a new score from composer Junkie XL, who the director originally wanted to work with, but who was eventually replaced by Danny Elfman in the final production stages after Joss Whedon‘s takeover.
The teaser also feature more of Cyborg’s, aka Victor Stone’s, storyline, which was meant to be elaborated upon in the original.
There are also new scenes with more characters like the movie’s new supervillain Darkseid, as well as added violence and profanity, bringing the HBO Max version to an R-rating.
In the film, the greatest DC heroes came together for the first time ever on the big screen, including Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Together, they joined forces to prevent the supervillain Steppenwolf from destroying the Earth.
The director also revealed the Marvel movie he’d love to make one day.
