Katie Price's fiancé Carl Woods is stern in sighting since car crash

Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods looks solemn in first sighting since her car crash and Priory trip… as it’s revealed the couple fought before she illegally drove during drink and drug binge

  • On Thursday, the Love Island star, 32, cut a solemn figure as he stepped out in his native Essex in his first sighting since his fiancée’s latest bout on legal woes
  • The previous day, Katie pleaded guilty to three charges of drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance after crashing her BMW
  • The car crash occurred when Katie, who was already disqualified from driving, allegedly went looking for drugs in the wake of a ‘massive row’ with Carl
  • It comes after Carl recently defended himself against allegations that he was the perpetrator of a physical attack on the model at an Essex property last month
  • On August 23, police officers were called and a man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour and released on bail

Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods appeared solemn as he emerged on Thursday in the wake of the glamour model’s latest legal battles.

The previous day, Katie pleaded guilty to three charges of drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance after crashing her BMW to allegedly hunt for drugs during an all-night alcohol and cocaine bender.

Following her admission of guilt, reports surfaced stating that Katie, 43, and Carl, 32, had fought before she went on her illegal drive, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Katie and Carl had a massive row and things escalated.’

Just hours after Katie arrived at The Priory for drink and drug treatment, Carl was spotted at an Essex petrol station on Thursday. The previous day he shared a cryptic message about ‘his mind killing him’ on Instagram.

Katie, who was already serving a six-month driving ban, had left her property at 5am to pick up more drugs. It was then reported that she got behind the wheel after she had an explosive argument with her fiancé Carl.

She now faces jail after pleading guilty to three charges of drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance at Crawley Magistrates Court.

But prosecutors dropped a drug-driving charge in light of her guilty drink-driving plea. It came just days after family and friends rallied round her following her arrest.

A source told The Sun: ‘Katie and Carl had a massive row and things escalated.

Worries: A source told The Sun: ‘Katie and Carl had a massive row and things escalated’

‘She’s been under a lot of pressure over the past few weeks and it seems she just snapped. Katie went off the grid for eight hours as friends tried to track her down.’

Carl was casually-clad in sportswear as he emerged at the petrol station, having posted a now-expired meme showing an anguished Cillian Murphy in character in Peaky Blinders, alongside the words: ‘Nothing kills you like your mind.’

It comes after Carl recently defended himself against allegations that he was the perpetrator of a physical attack on the model at an Essex property last month, while Katie also slammed the suggestion in a statement last month.

On August 23, police officers were called to a property in Essex at approximately 1.30am and a man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assaulting Katie, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour and released on bail.

Amid whispers about who was the perpetrator and Carl’s denial, the former glamour model, 43, took to Instagram to write: ‘FACT, I’ve ALWAYS said DON’T believe everything you read in the media and what Carl is saying is true.

‘FACT I’ve NEVER called the police on Carl my police investigation I’m currently going through to a incident a few weeks ago is not to do with Carl.’

Out and about: Carl cut a low-key figure in the wake of the plight

At court on Wednesday, Katie was told that her sentencing had been deferred for 11 weeks until December 15 to allow her to have treatment at The Priory.

Chair of the bench Julie Hutton told her she could leave but warned her against driving in the interim, saying: ‘You are free to go and good luck at the Priory.’

Sources revealed that Katie will not be contacting the outside world during her stint in rehab, in what is a typical move for such a recovery programme. MailOnline has contacted representatives for Katie for comment.

The mother-of-five was pictured in the passenger seat of a car driven by her father on her way to The Priory clinic in London on Wednesday afternoon, days after she flipped the BMW near her Sussex home before dawn.

In April, Price mocked her driving ban in a YouTube video by sitting in the driving seat of car and pretending to drive – but noting that she was on her own land

As Katie re-enters the rehab facility, it’s now been revealed that just 11 months ago her kids threatened to ‘never speak to her again’ if she took cocaine.

The troubled glamour model, 43, is mum to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who she shares with Peter Andre, as well as Jett, 8, and Bunny, 7, with Kieran Hayler and Harvey, 18, with Dwight Yorke.

After her October stint in The Priory, Katie vowed to take regular drugs tests to prove she was clean and opened up about her use of cocaine to her children.

She told The Sun: ‘My kids thought I had lost the plot and was partying. They didn’t realise it was me breaking down trying to block things out.

‘They needed to know the truth.

‘All the kids say that I am so much better now. But they say, “mum if you ever get back to how you were, we are never going to speak to you again.” I tell them they never have to worry because I wouldn’t go back there.’

She previously said she had used cocaine in the past to ‘block things out’ because she ‘couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel’ due to her mental health issues.

News of her children’s stern threat comes as MailOnline revealed that Katie has agreed to not have any contact with the outside world via her mobile phone while she is in recovery in The Priory.

An insider told MailOnline that friends have been trying to contact the TV personality, yet since her arrival at the famed rehabilitation centre, she is no longer reachable as she prepares to tackle her drink and drug demons.
