Kevin Bacon goes shirtless in first ‘selfie’ with wife Kyra Sedgwick as he reminisces on ‘the old days’
Kevin Bacon shared a throwback photo with his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, to his Instagram account on Friday.
In the shot, the 63-year-old actor and Kyra, 56, held each other closely and gazed toward the camera.
The Apollo 13 actor wrote: ‘Hey kids in the old days cameras and phones were two different things! This was our first “selfie.”‘

Bacon remained shirtless in the shot, while Sedgwick wore a black swimsuit that complemented her bright blonde shade of her hair.
The pair initially met while working on the set of the television film Lemon Sky in 1987.
They remained together for several months before the actor popped the big question on Christmas Eve that year.
The performers went on to make their union official during a wedding ceremony that was held the following September.

Bacon and Sedgwick started a family with the birth of their son, Travis, in 1989.
Two years later, the happy couple took to the screen to costar in the comedy feature Pyrates, and welcomed their daughter Sosie in 1992.

Bacon, Sedgwick and their children all appeared in the 2005 feature Loverboy, which was also directed by the Kevin.
The actress went on to direct the 2017 television film Story of a Girl, which starred both her husband and Sosie.
Bacon gushed about his marriage during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he expressed happiness about having ended up with his wife.

‘I lucked out. Somehow I found the person that I’m meant to be with and I’ll never take that for granted,’ he said.
The A Few Good Men cast member also remarked that his wife’s parenting skills were unmatched.
He noted that Sedgwick was ‘very good with boundaries when it comes to our kids. I can’t say enough about her as a mother.’

He noted that his spouse had found a way for their kids to feel comfortable discussing any issue with their parents.
‘I think it’s her ability to set up a situation where our children are open and willing to communicate with us,’ he said. ‘Communication, to me, is one of the secrets to keeping your kids happy and healthy and safe.’
Bacon added: ‘She has demanded it in a way without crossing too many boundaries.’
