Khloé Kardashian FINALLY ‘moving on’ from Tristan Thompson in wake of the NBA star’s paternity scandal but ‘things are okay between them’ despite the drama
Khloe Kardashian is done trying to make things work with on/off boyfriend Tristan Thompson in wake of his paternity scandal.
‘Khloe is moving on,’ a source told PEOPLE on Thursday. ‘Tristan and Khloe have been broken up for a while, and things are okay between them.’
DailyMail.com exclusively revealed court documents last week that alleged Thompson, 30, had fathered his third child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols while he was still romantically linked to Kardashian, 37, in March.

Maralee, who gave birth last week, is currently suing the NBA star for child support and reimbursement of medical expenses and pregnancy-related costs.
Despite the drama, an insider insisted to PEOPLE that Khloe and Tristan are solely ‘focused on co-parenting’ their three-year-old daughter True.

Her family was awarded the Best Reality Show gong during the star-studded ceremony, which saw her take to the stage with Kim and Kris to accept the honor.
It marked Khloe’s first high-profile outing since news of Tristan’s alleged infidelity broke but that didn’t stop social media trolls from reading into the star’s demeanor during the show.
Several Twitter users accused her of looking disinterested during Halle Berry’s moving speech while accepting the Icon award – even going as far as to say she was ‘jealous’ of the actress.
‘That’s disappointing my face gave that expression,’ wrote the Good American founder in reply to one critic. ‘Halle Berry is such a force. Absolutely stunning and beyond talented.’

Appearing to reference the Thompson drama, Kardashian admitted to feeling ‘barely in my own body right now’ and asked for kindness during this difficult time.
‘Please don’t read into anything. Also please don’t tear me apart because you assumed something,’ she concluded.
Hours prior to Khloe’s People’s Choice Awards appearance, TMZ reported that Tristan filed an emergency petition on Tuesday in Harris County, Texas, asking the judge to issue a gag order in the case.
Meanwhile, a source doubled down to PEOPLE on Monday, claiming Khloe and Tristan were still in a relationship in March this year and that the mother-of-one ‘was upset to find out that he cheated again’.

The added: ‘She just can’t believe that he is going to be a dad again.’
However, a source close to Khloe disputes the timeline of events, insisting to DailyMail.com: ‘They broke up earlier this year around the Spring. Khloe’s only concern is True and maintaining a positive and healthy co-parenting relationship for their daughter as friends.’
Per legal documents obtained by TMZ, the basketball star claims that Maralee has conducted interviews and leaked personal information via social media to spread what he claims are falsehoods about the situation.

He also claims Snapchat messages that she claimed were from the NBA star had been ‘fabricated.’
Tristan alleges in the suit that Maralee is trying ”to achieve some sort of notoriety and gain for herself in this lawsuit.’
He reportedly also wants a judge to make Maralee hand over a $30,000 bond to ensure she has the sufficient funds if she breaks the confidentiality order.
DailyMail.com, exclusively revealed court documents last week that alleged the baby was conceived in Houston, Texas, during Thompson’s 30th birthday celebrations in March.

Tristan already shares a three-year-old daughter True with Khloe, and a son Prince, four, with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
Nichols, a Houston native, has since moved to Los Angeles and is now suing the athlete for child support as well as for reimbursement of medical expenses and pregnancy-related costs.
She has also filed to submit text messages between her and Thompson as evidence for her paternity lawsuit which allegedly show that he wanted her to terminate the pregnancy, Page Six reported.
Attorneys for Nichols claim that the communications show Thompson ‘addressing the parties’ relationship’ and ‘insisting that she get an abortion and threatening that she will get next to nothing with lesser support requirements in Texas.’
