Khloe Kardashian says her parents ‘scared the sh*t’ out of her when giving her the sex talk, even showing her photos of a herpes infection to drive home their point.
Khloe, 36, said she was just ’14 or 15′ years old when she started taking birth control, after getting a frightening sex talk from her parents Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian.
‘I started taking birth control at 14 or 15, and I told my mom that I was, I just told her,’ Khloe said in an interview with Sarah Hyland on her show Lady Parts.

‘I think I had it easier ’cause of Kourtney and Kim. It’s like when you’re the third child, they’ve already heard it all and I think the shock of their daughters having sex before marriage has already gone out the window.
‘So I was so afraid of getting pregnant, my parents scared the shit out of me and would show me “This is herpes,” and would show me photos. I remember my mom… Oh my God I had to look at all these visuals. “If I had sex, this is what was going to happen to me.”
‘And so I was so afraid. She took me to this doctor, I got birth control pills, and then I remember feeling a lot safer ’cause I didn’t want to be a teen mom, I didn’t want to get pregnant before I was ready to get pregnant and understand those responsibilities fully.’
Nowadays, Khloe is looking to expand her family.

The star said on the show: ‘We realized that my eggs aren’t strong enough to be frozen. They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos. So I actually have made embryos.’
She explained how the pandemic put everything on hold: ‘And then, with COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you do need assistance in fertility, it’s much more challenging during COVID.

‘They say, “If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.” So the one time I’m actually really trying to plan, God is saying, “Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like this!”‘
Khloé added that she wants True to grow up with siblings like she did: ‘My plan was to have kids closer in age. But with COVID and everything, my plan’s been a little delayed.
‘I definitely do want more kids. I have so many brothers and sisters. I think it’s such a blessing — especially during these times — to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life.’

She recently spoke to The Evening Standard about motherhood: ‘After having True, I had to learn to balance my time more because when it comes to my baby, she is the most important person who deserves my attention.
‘It was really just all about me learning to set more boundaries, manage my time, so I could still give her the attention she deserves.’
Khloé and Tristan have worked toward mending their relationship over the past year in quarantine, after splitting in February of 2019, amid his alleged cheating scandal with former family friend Jordyn Woods, 23.
