In case you haven’t heard, The Kardashians is *officially* back for season 2. And although the second episode just premiered today, we’re already in deep re: Tristan Thompson’s most recent cheating scandal—including the physical effect it had on Khloé.
During the September 29 episode, Kim revealed to her younger sis that both Kendall and Kylie Jenner had made comments about the Good American founder’s noticeably slimmer frame in the wake of finding out that Tristan had fathered a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols.

“You look very skinny,” Kim confessed to Khloé. “I will say that Kendall and Kylie—not that I’m trying to out them—but they did text me and say that they were a little concerned for you, because you’re really skinny.” Almost immediately, Khloé retorted by saying, “And Kendall said it, the model. Wow.” Kim then added, “I said, ‘I think she’s a bit stressed…I said, ‘You absolutely have every right to be concerned, but I’m telling you, she’s fine.’”
Immediately after the convo, Khloé confessed that the entire ordeal was actually “incredibly hard,” which is super fair. I mean, at the time, her surrogate had just undergone an embryo transfer days before she learned of Tristan’s infidelity once again—a scenario not too far off from when she welcomed her first child, True, in 2018.

“The hardest part about it all is training yourself to un-love someone,” Khloé said to the cameras. “This was my life for six years. And we weren’t just a couple—we genuinely were best friends. He was my workout buddy. We did all these things together. And so learning how to undo all those things, that takes time. Just because someone does you dirty doesn’t mean you fall out of love with them instantly.”
To make matters more complicated, the reality TV star revealed that Tristan had actually proposed to her shortly before news of his infidelity broke, although she turned him down because she wasn’t 100 percent comfortable with the ’ship and wouldn’t have been proud of the engagement. “I said I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I am engaged to anyone,” she said. “That is why I said, ‘I am not comfortable accepting this because I am not excited to tell my family.’ And as hurtful as it was for him to hear, it was the truth, I would never accept something and give someone false hope.”
