Big announcement: Kim Kardashian broke down in tears as the family revealed the ‘excruciating decision’ to stop filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians to their crew
The women stood in the grass outside of their Malibu mansion rental as they gathered the production crew before filming one day.
‘There’s no easy way to say this except just to say it because we love you guys all so much,’ Kris said. ‘It’s almost like ripping off a band aid, but we just wanted to tell you in person that we won’t be going forward with filming the show anymore.
Jenner, who also serves as her daughter’s manager, sobbed through her words and was clearly devastated by the news.

‘It’s been a really excruciating decision to make,’ she said. ‘This journey has been the most incredible thing that we have ever done and we can’t even express the appreciation that we have for you along the way.’
Kim could barely speak as she clutched her neck: ‘I just want you guys to know how much we really appreciate you guys each and every one of you for spending time away from your families to be with our crazy family.’
Khloe chimed in: ‘I hope you guys feel, like, respected and appreciated because even if we don’t say it, I think of you guys as my second family and I know we’re all really really grateful. When it’s happy, it’s happy, but when people are there for you- when life f***ing sucks, that’s what matters.

She went on to reveal that the crew has been by her side ‘through so many crazy, happy, sad, amazing situations’ through the 14 years of filming.
‘Like, I’m so close with the crew from my move to Dallas. One of our camera guys was with me Christmas Day so I wouldn’t be alone on Christmas Day in Dallas,’ she said.’
‘From divorces, to transitions, to literally my vagina out when my baby was being born. I mean, the list goes on and on and on. I have such a security blanket in these people. And, you know, to not have that anymore, it’s a big thing. I mean, it sounds silly, but they’re my people.

‘It’s, like, very bittersweet. I think it’s like with the crew and production, like we’ve been so close and like in each other’s lives every day for 13 years. I have learned so much and i don’t have any regrets so I just hope everyone understands our decisions.’
‘I’m not a big talker, but I’m so grateful also for everything and for all the experiences,’ Kourtney admitted.
During a taped confessional, the eldest of the Kardashian/Jenner brood said: ‘It’s, like, very bittersweet.
