‘I engage with social media in a meaningful way’: Kim Kardashian takes a subtle swipe at Kanye West in Vogue Hong Kong spread after her estranged husband’s online attacks

Kim Kardashian took a subtle swipe at her estranged husband Kanye West as she discussed her social media use in a chat with Vogue Hong Kong.

The reality star, 41, featured in three striking cover images for the fashion bible in which she donned a variety of skimpy bralets and bold power suits.

As well as posing for the  publication, Kim gave a candid chat in which detailed her work ethic and family values.

Asked how she stays ‘grounded and positive in the age of social media’, Kim mused: ‘I’m so blessed to have such an incredible family, having their support means everything.

‘The advent of social media really changed the game and we really focus on engaging with social media in a meaningful way.’

Kim’s comments come as she and her boyfriend Pete Davidson have faced a barrage of online attacks from Kanye.

The rapper was recently suspended from Instagram for 24 hours after he called the Daily Show host Trevor Noah a ‘k**n’, which was said to have violated the site’s harassment policy.

He made the comments after Trevor stated that Kanye’s behaviour towards Kim was ‘terrifying’.

Kanye had previously referred to her boyfriend Pete as ‘garbage’ and ‘trash’, while publicly declaring his intentions to win Kim back.

Elsewhere in the chat, Kim was asked what she considered to be the most important value she has taught her children.

Kim shares North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, with Kanye.

She said: ‘The biggest thing my own parents taught me is that family is everything – and it’s definitely a lesson I try to teach my own kid.

‘That and to be kind – I want my kids to be kind and to treat everybody with respect.’

For her cover shoot, Kim oozed elegance in a black suit while contrasting it with a busty white bra.

Kim looked chic in her black ensemble, which featured a a black blazer that was well tailored to hug her curves, as she posed in front of a segmented floor-to-ceiling mirror.

The item featured lustrous peaked lapels and no buttons, and it included longs sleeves that nearly swallowed up her hands, which were encased in black gloves.

She appeared to wear a black bra with a gold clasp in the front under her jacket, but she opted to skip wearing a shirt.

The shapewear mogul paired her suit jacket with high-waisted black slacks, and she wore a modest gold chain around her throat.

She completed her look with elegantly understated makeup, and she had her wet raven locks styled in playfully messy waves falling down her back.

Fragmented: The fashion icon also starred in a third, more artistic cover image, which showed her in the same white outfit as she laid on the mirror

Kim looked totally at ease in another cover photo, which featured her lying on her side on the same mirror, which had been laid down on the floor.

She swapped out her dark suit for a white bra of the same design, along with high-waisted white slacks.

The dark-haired beauty rested her head on one elegantly manicured hand, highlighting her opulent chandelier earrings and several gleaming bracelets and rings.

A car was just barely visible at the edge of the frame, which likely figures more prominently into other images from the photoshoot.

Kim also starred in a third, more artistic cover image, which showed her in the same white outfit as she laid on the mirror.

She placed on hand on the mirror while her profile was caught in disjointed shards, and her mirror image was featured on the other side of the photo.

Kim didn’t bother to give her fans a hint of what to expect in her upcoming cover story by Gregg Swales, and she simply noted the photographer and her style team in her caption.

Last month, Kim was revealed to be the March cover model for Vogue’s flagship US publication.

In her cover story, she revealed that she initially didn’t want to wear the full-face mask that was part of her now-iconic black Balenciaga bodysuit at the Met Gala last year.

Iconoclastic: In her cover story, she revealed that she initially didn’t want to wear the full-face mask that was part of her now-iconic black Balenciaga bodysuit at the Met Gala last year; seen in September in NYC

‘I fought against it,’ Kim said. ‘I was like, I don’t know how I could wear the mask. Why would I want to cover my face?

‘But Demna [Gvasalia, Creative Director at Balenciaga] and the team were like, “This is a costume gala. This is not a party where everyone looks beautiful. There’s a theme and you have to wear the mask. That is the look.”‘

She eventually gave into his advice, and the outfit was one of the most buzzed-about ensembles at the gala.

Kim’s latest Vogue cover comes amid a break in her ex Kanye’s online feuding with her and her boyfriend Pete.

The Saturday Night Live star, who recently took a quick trip to New York with Kim, had been the subject of the rapper’s ire in recent weeks as his relationship with the reality star heated up.

Earlier this month, Kanye was suspended from Instagram for 24 hours after he called The Daily Show host Trevor Noah a racial slur.

His attacks had gotten increasingly personal recently, after he featured a Pete-like claymation figure whom his stand-in buried alive in the video for his single Eazy.

The Monster rapper also took Kim to task for allowing their eldest daughter North West, eight, to post videos on TikTok under her mother’s supervision.

Kim and Kanye began their relationship in April 2012, and they got engaged in October of the following year, before marrying in May 2014 in Florence, Italy.

But following her husband’s increasingly bizarre behavior and his doomed presidential campaign, Kim filed for divorce in February of last year.

On March 2, a judge overseeing her divorce case declared her and Kanye legally single.
