Kylie Jenner's slammed for indulgent party for Stormi amid pandemic

Kylie Jenner is slammed for indulgent third birthday party for Stormi amid pandemic: ‘It’s amazing that COVID doesn’t exist in Kardashian land!’

She’s known for throwing lavish affairs for the one she loves the most.

And despite sizing down this year from its normally massive display, Kylie Jenner still caught slack for hosting an indulgent third birthday party for her daughter Stormi.

The 23-year-old social media star spared no expenses for the castle-themed event at her Beverly Hills home which was aptly titled ‘3rd Times A Charm,’ but online critics couldn’t help but notice the lack of concern for COVID-19 from the Kardashian clan.

Yikes: Despite sizing down this year from its normally massive display, Kylie Jenner still caught slack for hosting an indulgent third birthday party for her daughter Stormi

For the last few years, the little one has been treated to her own adventure land, Stormi World, which included amusement rides, balloon animals and, of course, her own merchandise.

While Kylie opted for a bright orange puffer jacket and black slacks, Stormi played the role of princess in a whimsical pink dress.

In the background of one set-up, an impressive plastic balloon in the shape of Stormi’s face was positioned on top of a rainbow blow up slide which was placed on Kylie’s basketball court.

Not great: While this year’s festivities weren’t as public with hundreds of friends and family, followers were not pleased to see so many people packed in one room during a time when the state of California is still under strict lockdown orders due to the coronavirus

Stormi had her own candy shop filled with delicious treats and Raising Cane’s food truck provided fried chicken, french fries and all of the fixings.

On Tuesday, Kylie Instastoried a snap of 17 brand new pairs of sneakers captioned: ‘My girl is so spoiled!’

Los Angeles County has counted more than one million cases of COVID-19, with over 16,000 deaths since totals began streaming in last March.

Total cases for the state of California reached three million last month and more than 41,000 deaths.

This isn’t the first time the Kardashian/Jenner clan has been criticized for flouting rules essentially banning any gatherings outside of the people who live in your home.

In October, Kim Kardashian rented out an entire island to host her 40th birthday party with nearly 50 of her closest friends and family.

Just days after returning home, Kendall Jenner hosted a costumed birthday party on Halloween weekend, which was well-attended by young (and old) Hollywood stars and had a strict no social media policy.
