Lauren Alaina has teamed up with Jon Pardi for the title track of her six-track EP, Getting Over Him.
The song, which is about shaking off heartbreak with casual fun, says the girl is not looking for love, just a “last call, first call, no fallin’, just getting over him guy.”
“I’ve got a duet with Pardi on his album, and then he loved this one,” Alaina explains in a press release, adding, “His energy is so amazing. I can’t believe I have a rebound song – but I do.”
Alaina co-wrote the song with Paul DiGiovanni and Emily Weisband.
The album also features a duet, “What Do You Think Of,” with Lukas Graham.
