‘I know in my last video I mentioned I’d been diagnosed with a couple of conditions and not to go into too much detail but one of them I have is, there’s a lot of manic things in my life which you guys saw,’.
He continued: ‘But the other side of it is and that kind of feels like when when I would lose my sobriety in these moments that were super low and I felt like that today,’.
‘And it’s isolating the two things and seeing them separately and like I know what they are now’.
Before adding: ‘Luckily I have some amazing people around me that kind of look after me but I am sure they can see it in me too that I’m “not really here'”‘
He captioned the slip: ‘I’ve filmed this same video about 20 times at different points this year and got too scared to put it out by talking myself out of it’.
‘I’m coming to see how fortunate I am to be in the position I’m in… and I wanna give any of you struggling the gift I was given by sharing some of the things I learned form specialists whilst I was away’.
‘First thing I did everyday was check in and its important you don’t bottle up how you feel. Feeling is one of the amazing gifts we had and I blocked things up so long it made me sick and lash out… notice it, allow it to happen and let it pass through’.
Before adding: ‘I hope this helps’.

Candid: Liam revealed he spent some time in a wellness clinic in the US last year after the fallout of his controversial comments about One Direction
Liam said he hit ‘rock bottom’ after appearing on Logan Paul’s podcast back in June 2022, and apologised for taking his anger out on everybody else.
He shared a video to his YouTube on Saturday called ‘I’m Back…’, where he opened up on seeking professional help.
Liam thanked his six-year-old son Bear and his ex-girlfriend and Bear’s mother Cheryl for supporting his decision to get better.
He added that his former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik had ‘stuck by me’ and ‘came to my rescue’.
Discussing the infamous podcast, Liam said he ‘came across really big-headed’ and that ‘it was hard for me to watch back’ but that in a way it had ‘saved my life’ by causing him to seek help.
He caused a massive upset among the One Direction fanbase after making several comments about the band on the podcast.
He claimed that the group was formed around himself, and that he outsold his fellow bandmates with his debut single – a fact that was disputed by fans.
He said there were ‘many reasons why I dislike Zayn’ and alluded to singer’s altercation with Yolanda Hadid last year.
Liam also said that he and Louis had hated each other when they were in One Direction and claimed to have been thrown into a wall by one of his bandmates.
Apologising for his words in the new YouTube post, he said: ‘I needed to take some time out for myself. I kind of became someone who I didn’t really recognise any more.
‘I was so angry at what was going on around me that instead of taking a look inwards I decided to take it outwards on everybody else. It was wrong really, and my own frustrations with my own career. I want to apologise for that.

‘The rest of the boys have really stuck by me and when I needed them most they kind of came to my rescue, even Zayn.
‘It was hard for me to watch back. I think in those moments when you make those videos you don’t really realise the impact that your words might have on other people.
‘Looking back on it, the whole podcast was a big ‘L’. In fact, it’s probably one of those life changing moments that saved my life in a way.’
Speaking about his time at the centre in Louisiana, Liam said: ‘There is a point when you hit rock bottom and you realise you have got to do something different as whatever you are doing right now isn’t working for you.
‘I was in bad shape up until that point and I was really happy more than anything when I arrived to put a stopper on life and work.’
He revealed he was cut off from the outside world, without a phone, and turned to art and poetry.
Liam added: ‘Honestly more than anything I want to say thank you to Bear and his mum for giving me a little bit of freedom to go and get well, as I had to.
‘There is no point trying to be a dad when you have nothing to teach.
‘I feel like I have a grip on life now. After I got back out, that process had worked for me, but there were still some little bits left that I kind of had to deal with myself.’
