He's been pretty low-key for the last few months in lockdown, but now Liam Payne has been pictured for the first time in a while.

The singer, who could be reuniting with One Direction soon, looked almost unrecognisable as he arrived for rehearsals for his BAFTA's performance on Sunday.

The 27 year old appeared different from his boyband days with a longer hairstyle coming down to his chin.

The performer crossed his arms and looked deep in thought as he arrived at the rehearsals venue.

He wore a white T-shirt and displayed his sleeve tattoos as he waited to enter the building.

Liam's sighting comes after he opened up about how he was finding the Covid-19 pandemic hard to deal with.

The dad-of-one, said he had to get a negative Covid-19 test each time he wanted to see his son Bear, who he shares with ex Cheryl.

Speaking on Instagram live with producer Ben Whiston in January, Liam explained: "I went and saw Bear today we had a little hangout which was nice as I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks.

"It's hard with the Covid thing as I have to make sure I'm negative before I go over and see him so it's having to wait that couple of days before you can test so…"

Liam went on to reveal how much his son has grown up in the past year in lockdown.

He added: "He's only up the street and it's dead complicated but he's gotten so big, huge."

The doting dad previously expressed that his son told him he "needs" him as they went without seeing each other for the "longest" time.

While engaging with Tings magazine back in November 2020, he divulged: "He said something quite sad the other day. He was like, ‘Come on, Daddy, we need you now.’

"So those moments are really difficult. It’s the longest I haven’t seen him in his life.

"But we discussed from the start and for different reasons, me and Cheryl decided I should be away for a little bit.

"It’s not unusual for me to be in and out of his life. He’s quite a chill child. He doesn’t worry about things too much," Liam said.
