Yet Lily James unveiled new flaxen tresses on Monday as she is set to play Pamela Anderson for a new TV series on Hulu.
The actress, 32, who is currently dating rocker Michael Shuman, showed off her new look as she channelled the Baywatch beauty, 53, while running errands in Los Angeles.

Lily cut a casual figure in a denim shirt with contrasting denim pockets, a graphic tee and jeans.
The upcoming show, which has a working title of Pam & Tommy, explores Pamela’s tumultuous relationship with Tommy Lee.
Actor Sebastian Stan, 38, stars alongside Lily as he takes on the role of the Mötley Crüe drummer, 58.

As well as exploring the couple’s 1995 marriage, which happened only 96 hours after they met, a major storyline in the Hulu show is said to be the furore around their leaked honeymoon sex tape.
The infamous sex tape was allegedly stolen from Pamela and Tommy’s home in 1995 and ended up being shared online.
As well as Lily and Sebastian, Seth Rogan is also thought to be joining cast as the man who stole the sex tape and will also be producing the eight-episode TV series.

Pamela sued the company that was distributing it, before entering into a confidential settlement with Internet Entertainment Group.
Insiders told Deadline that Pamela and Tommy are not involved in the Hulu project, but have been aware that it is happening since Lily was brought in to play the model.
In May last year, Pamela played down the video on Andy Cohen’s show and cheekily told him: ‘That was not a sex tape. That was a compilation of vacations that we were naked on.’
Pamela also revealed that she has a ‘great’ relationship with her rocker ex.
She said: ‘We don’t talk at all. It’s perfect. No, we do… my kids are happy and that’s all that matters. They have a relationship now, and that’s the best part.’
The actress and Tommy were married from 1995 to 1998 and share sons Brandon, 24, and Dylan, 22.
Pamela has also been married to Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007 and Rick Salomon from 2007 to 2008 as well as Jon Peters for 12 days in 2020.

Meanwhile, Lily has also hit the headlines with her own romantic scandals.
The actress has kept a low-profile since she became the subject of worldwide scrutiny when images emerged showing her and Dominic West enjoying a two-day vacation in Italy where they were seen riding on a scooter through Rome, and Dominic appeared to at one point lean over and kiss Lily’s neck.
A source told MailOnline the thespians spent two nights in a suite at the top Hotel De La Ville with a panoramic view over the city and just at two minutes walk from the Spanish steps.
