During Thursday night’s post-Casa Amor recoupling part 1, the consistently-flakey footballer walked back into the main villa with a new girl on his arm.
But in tonight’s episode of Love Island, Toby Aromolaran, 22, questions his decision to recouple with Mary Bedford, 22, after Abi Rawlings, 27 – who has been left single – stayed loyal to him.
The lothario, who is currently coupled up with his fourth woman in as many weeks, admits to Abi that he does like Mary, but also asserts: ‘I like you as well.’

Following the recoupling, Toby speaks with Abi back at the main Villa, confessing: ‘I’m speechless. I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t know where your head was at?’
The tattoo artist asks: ‘Do you like her?’ to which Toby responds: ‘Yeah, but I like you as well.’
The brunette beauty tells him: ‘I’d rather you say you really like her because then it would be worth it.’
Speaking in the Beach Hut after their chat, Abi fumes: ‘How many lessons does one guy need, seriously? Why would you throw me away?’

Toby started out his Love Island journey coupled up with Kaz Kawmi, 26, but ditched her when bombshell Chloe Burrows, 25, showed interest.
And despite the pair getting close each day, within 24 hours of Abi’s arrival, Toby had dumped Chloe for the newcomer.
During the post-Casa Amor recoupling, Abi insisted that she had felt Toby was worth waiting for, only for him to throw her under the bus for his new blonde partner, Mary.
It remains to be seen what Toby will decide to do next, but the rest of the villa is poised for more drama as the recoupling continues.

Meanwhile, new stats reveal that Love Island was the most watched programme at 9pm across any channel for the second time this week, with last night’s show even beating EastEnders on BBC One.
The first half of the couple reveals for Casa Amor attracted a peak TV audience of 2.6 million last night, which is in the top five peak audiences for the series so far.
ITV2 has also been the most watched channel for 16-34 viewers every day this week so far.

Based on consolidated data (which includes catch-up and ITV Hub viewing) Love Island is so far averaging 4.2 million viewers across all devices, up by 106k viewers on the equivalent episodes of the last series.
