Love Island contestant Faye Winter has revealed that her mum and dad gifted her a boob job on her 18th birthday because she was ‘so upset’ about being ‘underdeveloped’.

‘My mum and dad didn’t watch me cry every day from the age of 13 to 18 because I was underdeveloped,’ the 28-year-old told Hugo Hammond on the show on Tuesday night.

She continued: ‘To then buy their daughter a boob job for her 18th birthday because I was so upset about it for such a long time.’

Hugo, who is in a ‘friendship couple’ with Chloe, previously offended a few of the islanders who had undergone similar surgeries with his use of the word ‘fake’ during a task.

The game saw the islanders answering questions like ‘favourite sex positions’ and how many procedures the girls have had.

It was hosted by Chloe Burrows, 25, and Hugo – or ‘Hoey’ as they playfully called themselves.

Behind the smile: ‘My mum and dad didn’t watch me cry every day from the age of 13 to 18 because I was underdeveloped to then buy their daughter a boob job for her 18th birthday because I was so upset about it for such a long time.’

Faye admitted during the task that she underwent the procedure alongside lip fillers and botox.

Sharon Gaffka, a 25-year-old civil servant, also revealed that she had the same procedures.

Chloe told the group that she underwent breast augmentation and Liberty Poole, 21, detailed her lip fillers.

Hugo found himself in a spot of trouble with both islanders when he answered that his biggest turn off was ‘fake, yeah’.

‘Personality and looks,’ he clarified.

A few of the girls then got annoyed at another one of Hugo’s answers, when he said his ‘perfect type’ is a ‘leggy blonde. Not fake’.

‘That word keeps getting thrown around, doesn’t it?,’ Faye remarked.

Faye and Sharon then spoke with the singleton privately, where the two defended cosmetic surgeries.

Faye then spoke in detail about why ‘the word fake…doesn’t really brush well with me’ and why she turned to the procedures in the first place.

Hugo said in the beach hut: ‘I definitely won’t be making that mistake again and definitely trying my best to not upset the girls because it feels horrible and that’s the last thing that I wanted to do.’

‘I can’t comprehend how tough that must have been. I’m so sorry for using the word in a way which hurts you,’ said Hugo.

They then hugged it out before re-grouping with the rest of the islanders.
