Lucy Mecklenburgh shared a photo of her breastfeeding while also enjoying a well-deserved pizza hours after giving birth to her newborn daughter.
The 30 year old was pictured multi-tasking as she sat up on a hospital bed cradling her baby girl in one hand, while holding a slice of pizza in the other, with the pizza box laid out in front of her.
“Our first meal together 10 days ago!!” Lucy captioned the pic.
“Nothing beats the first meal after birth and Tea & toast wasn’t going to cut it.”
Lucy then asked her followers: “What did u eat post birth?”
This led to a stream of replies, as one fan wrote: “Tea n toast then an M&S prawn pasta salad”, while another said they enjoyed a KFC and someone else added they had Subway as their meal of choice.
Followers commended Lucy for being so candid with her snap which was taken shortly after giving birth, as a fan commented: “Right this is ICONIC!!!y You’re absolutely glowing xxx”.
The former TOWIE star announced the birth of her daughter at the end of May and marked her baby girl’s first week since arrival with a sweet photo of the little one sleeping on Monday.
“1 week of loving you,” Lucy captioned it.
This is the ex reality star’s second child with fiancé Ryan Thomas after they welcomed their son Roman in 2020.
Lucy shared another photo of her multi-tasking like all new mums as she posted a snap on Instagram Stories of herself tucking into a lasagne dish while her daughter slept.
The mum-of-two recently discussed how she's been handling looking after two young children since welcoming her baby girl, describing her experience so far as like running a “military operation”.
Responding in a Q&A on Instagram Stories, Lucy wrote: “Feels a bit like a military operation sometimes but me & Ryan just work as a team. I’m breastfeeding, changing etc baby girl and Ryan’s changing, bathing, feeding & playing with Roman.”
Lucy revealed to fans after her daughter’s arrival that she was seven days over her due date and so far, her little girl has been a “content bubba”.
She and fiancé Ryan haven’t announced a name yet for their baby girl, sharing instead several photos and clips of themselves enjoying their time adjusting to life with their newborn daughter.
