Putting Penn to paper! Madonna has her ex-husband Sean Penn’s name scrawled on her head on a Post-It Note during a games night with pals… 32 years after their divorce
Madonna harked back to her romance with Sean Penn on Sunday evening.
The Material Girl songstress and her friends enjoyed an action-packed games night – with the megastar, 63, taking to Instagram to reveal that the group had enjoyed a round of Forehead Detective, where a familiar name arose.
The game sees participants stick Post-It Notes on their foreheads stamped with the name of a celebrity, and asking yes or no questions each player must try and guess which famous person’s name is stuck to their face.
Hilariously, Sean was written on Madonna’s yellow Post-It, with the clue marking heavy significance as the two were married from 1985 to 1989.

Other guests had names including Martin Luther King and Donatella Versace written on their sticky notes.
The group seemed to have a blast as they saw out the weekend in style, with Madonna also posting snaps of the fun and games in action.
In another snap, she worked her best angles while sitting on her bed and also uploaded a photo in which she could be seen sprawled out her bedroom bench while checking her phone.
Madonna was married to the Oscar-winning actor for four years before their divorce in 1989, and Sean has previously admitted he’ll always hold a special place in his heart for his first spouse.

Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2018, Sean said when asked who he prefers between Britney Spears and Madonna: ‘Ah, I love my first wife very much. There’s no [comparison]… you don’t compare those things.’
Madonna and Penn were married for four years from 1985 to 1989.
The feeling seems to be mutual as in 2016, Madonna herself confessed she was ‘still in love’ with the I Am Sam actor, whilst offering to remarry him if he paid up $150,000 (£117,700) to her charity.

Speaking to her ex on stage at her fundraiser in Malawi, the star said: ‘I’m still in love with you. Yes. In fact, I think I love you more now that we’re divorced.’
The Holiday singer also professed her love for the actor at another benefit gala the same year.
She said: ‘I want to say, Sean, that I love you from the moment that I laid eyes on you and I still love you just the same. I just wish you’d stop smoking so many cigarettes.’
