Married At First Sight’s Ines Basic reveals the extraordinary amount of money she’s earning as an influencer after her season became a ratings smash in the UK
She was portrayed as the ‘bride from hell’ on Married At First Sight, but Ines Basic is laughing all the way to the bank.
In an interview with the Unpopular podcast this week, the 31-year-old confirmed she was still making a living as a professional Instagram influencer more than two years after her season originally aired in Australia.
The former legal assistant also confirmed her follower count had skyrocketed since MAFS aired in the UK, leading to higher rates for sponsored posts.

‘It’s amazing because I’ve been getting some really good work opportunities with the UK – large, massive brands,’ she said.
‘I don’t know if any Australian has done it yet, maybe Tammy Hembrow has,’ she added, referring to the popular Aussie influencer.
‘I’ve got that coming up in one or two weeks, I’m just confirming with my management.’

The Bosnian’s beauty’s fashion credentials are well established, with several of the outfits she wore on Married At First Sight selling out in stores when her season aired in Australia in 2019.
First, the camouflage zip dress Ines wore during her secret rendezvous with Sam Ball sold out on online store The Iconic.
Ines did it again with the figure-hugging raspberry frock she wore to the first reunion dinner party.

The next night, Ines wore a red leather Alice McCall dress worth $450, which also flew off the shelves after viewers saw her in it on screen.
Despite her success as a fashion and beauty influencer, Ines is still determined to use her platform to give back.

She’s preparing to launch her own product line, with 10 per cent of sales set to go to a Bosnian children’s charity.
The sixth season of Married At First Sight Australia recently finished airing in the UK to record-breaking ratings.
Due to the show’s explosive success, seasons seven and eight of MAFS will also air in the UK sometime this year.
