He told fans: ‘Getting the miles in and getting out and exercising. I’m feeling good and setting myself up for the day, what have you done?

Mark’s house update comes after he found himself the target of an April Fools wind up, organised by close friend and notorious prankster Olly Murs.

Mark previously gave fans an insight into his home-life with wife Michelle on Monday, while the Our Girl star sunned herself during a country jaunt

The presenter showed off their current digs in a new Instagram video as they wait for the sprawling new build to be completed.

Appearing shirtless, the fitness nut gave fans a tour of the couple’s bedroom and adjoining en-suite bathroom while offering his fans useful tips on how to stay active during lockdown.

Panning his smart phone around the room, he asked: ‘How many times have you said to yourself: ‘The first thing I’m going to do tomorrow is work out?’

‘You wake up, you have a coffee you sit on the sofa, you talk to someone, you end up not doing it and it hangs over you.

Comfy: The TV personality revealed the bed he shares with Michelle as he panned his smart phone around their bedroom

‘Get out out of the way the thing that annoys you most, the thing that sits hanging over your head all day. Clear it from your head.’

Turning his phone to the double bed he shares with Michelle, the presenter tossed a pair of briefs, socks, and cycling shorts on the carpeted floor next to ‘his side.’

‘There’s my pants and socks,’ he said. ‘There’s my cycling top. There’s my cycling shorts.’

Hack: Mark insisted the key to starting the day positively was leaving your gym gear at the foot of the bed and setting your alarm half an hour early

Pointing it out: Mark also showed off the en-suite bathroom door while guiding fans around the room on Monday evening

Revealing the en-suite bathroom door, he added: ‘Bed, gym gear, brush me gnashers, out I go. If your gym gear’s by the side of your bed put it straight on, get out, you’ll train.

‘Trust me – best hack in the world. As soon as I started doing that it made me train first thing in the morning. Trust me, that for me is massive.

‘I used to have the gym and exercise hanging over my head all day.

Spring vibes: Michelle shared a video of her dog as it raced across an open field close to the home she currently shares with Mark on Monday afternoon

While Mark doled out well-meaning advice, Michelle was making the most of England’s current heatwave during a day out with their pet dog, beloved Chihuahua Pip.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a snap of herself and Pip as they basked in spring temperatures that climbed to a welcoming 21 degrees.

The actress later shared a video of her dog as it raced across an open field close to the home she currently shares with Mark.

Job done: Proving he would never ask fans to do something he wouldn’t do himself, Mark filmed himself on a bike ride in Essex on Tuesday morning

The couple recently shared a CGI image of the palatial home they’re planning to build revealing its huge windows and bright white exterior.

As well as boasting lots of large windows, the couple’s home features two smaller sections on the side of their home.

Showing just how much they’re planning on changing, Michelle and Mark shared a snap of their home taken back in 2019 when they decided to do the transformation.

Lots to do: Acknowledging they’ve some work to do, the couple said ‘sooner or later we will have the house we could have only ever dreamed of’

Progress: Mark has been sharing regular updates from the site to keep fans updated on how his building project is getting along

They wrote: ‘Here’s the lovely house that we purchased back in 2019 vs what we are hoping to create.

‘It’s been a long process so far and still a long way to go but sooner or later we will have the house, we could have only ever dreamed of. #grateful

‘Thanks to @tidyworkstudio for creating the CGI image of our home, to help us see what we have chosen come to life. Great job.’

It was recently reported that the couple have sold their old home – bought in 2013 – with it being on the market for £1.78million last October.

Mark and Michelle purchased their new home for £1.3m in October last year and it was revealed in January that they would demolish the four bedroom farmhouse to create the sensationally lavish new house with ‘classical design’.
