Martin Lewis, 48, has become known for his money-saving tips on-screen on his ITV series The Martin Lewis Money Show. Away from his role on TV, the Money Saving Expert founder has spoken of his love of motorbiking and how wife Lara Lewington, 41, banned him from riding them when they became parents.
Martin and Lara have been married for more than a decade, having tied the knot back in 2009.
Together the couple share daughter Sapphire Susan Lewis, who they welcomed three years later.
Since becoming a parent, Martin has admitted he had to give up motorbikes after Lara banned him.
While appearing on BBC Radio 4 show Desert Island Discs last year, he opened up on the ban she had placed on his past time.
The revelation came as he spoke of the significance of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ Can’t Take My Eyes Off You for both him and Lara.
He explained to host Lauren Laverne at the time: “When we started going out, in the days when she would allow me to do this.
“I’m banned now since we had a child, I’m not allowed to ride a motorbike anymore.”
Martin went on to talk about how listening to the song takes him back to one of the couple’s first holidays.
He continued: “We would occasionally hire a motorbike when we were on holiday, and we’d sit there, and we’d sing this song in the sun, on the back of a moped, both wearing helmets, being safe I should note.
“So this was the first song we danced to at our wedding, so this is the song for my wife. This is Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.“
Like Martin, Lara is also known for her presenting work and she co-hosts BBC’s technology programme Click alongside fellow presenter Spencer Kelly.
She has also previously been a technology reporter for both Channel 5 News and Sky.

On Friday last week, Martin shared an insight into his home life as he announced he would be signing off his social media, to spend time with his family as half-term approached.
He wrote: “That’s all folks! It’s half term, so I’m signing off work & social media for family time, til my show Thur [Thursday].
“Before it’s reported, I need (to) declare we are off on holiday! We promised mini MSE.
“So for 1 night we’re all going to… stay in the spare room (she’s excited). Take care.”
Many of the presenter’s followers were quick to reply to the post, as they praised him for taking off to spend with his family.
One wrote: “Well you all have fun. What a lovely family you are its a joy to hear you talk about your special little person. Woo she won’t like me calling her that bless her go and have fun and play.”
Another added: “So many people don’t take time out when they should. Family time invaluable. Keep doing… have a good rest.”
