Matthew McConaughey stays cool in a white linen suit while his wife Camila Alves is a vision in a blue dress at his 10th annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey charity gala

He confirmed in November that he wouldn’t run for governor of Texas.

But Matthew McConaughey showed that he could still serve the public when he returned to host his 10th annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey charity gala on Thursday.

The 52-year-old Oscar winner was joined by his wife Camila Alves, 40, at the event at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas.

The event — which Matthew puts on with country music star Jack Ingram and college football coach Mack Brown — is a non-profit that launched in 2013 and has so far donated more than $20 million to ‘organizations dedicated to children’s education, health and wellness.’

The Interstellar star did his best to stay cool amid Austin’s hot and humid climate by wearing a breathable white linen suit.

He added a splash of color with a pale blue shirt underneath, which featured a white collar that he left unbuttoned.

He matched his suit with a set of white loafers, and he wore his shaggy hair wet and slicked back.

Camila cut a glamorous figure in her pale blue dress, which highlighted her cleavage with its plunging neckline.

The model’s dress featured short, baggy sleeves and cutouts to expose her shoulders, and its long skirt reached all the way to the ground.

The Brazilian beauty elevated her 5ft9in stature with a pair of tan open-toe platform heels, and she wore her lustrous raven tresses swept to one side over her shoulder.

Matthew stopped to pose with his fellow organizers on the red carpet before the event got started.

Jack Ingram contrasted the actor with a black suit and matching black shirt, which he dressed down with black-and-white Adidas trainers.

He also blocked out the sun with a tan wide-brimmed hat.

Also joining the legendary coach — who currently leads the football team at the University of North Carolina and previously coach at the University of Texas at Austin — was his wife Sally Brown.

She wore a long black tunic with intricate gray designs and matching black-and-gray pants with black open-toe heels.

Jack’s wife Amy Ingram added some color to the proceedings with a hot pink satin jacket-style dress, along with black open-toe heels that strapped around her ankles.
