She, eventually, dropped to her knees and allowed MGK, born Colson Baker, to place the engagement ring on her finger. The lovebirds then wrapped their arms around one another and shared a kiss.
‘In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time,’ began Megan, who first became romantically linked to MGK in May of 2020.

‘Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
‘And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.

Megan and MGK first met in late 2019 while working on the crime drama Midnight in the Switchgrass, which also stars Bruce Willis and Emile Hirsch.
In a now famous July 2020 appearance on Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s podcast, Give Them Lala … With Randall, Fox recalled meeting her soon-to-be husband for the first time and how she knew right away that he was her ‘twin flame.’
She explained: ‘Instead of a soulmate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time.
‘So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away.’
Though it’s unclear exactly when Megan and MGK decided to take their friendship to a romantic level, it was not long after the actress had split from her ex husband Brian.

The 48-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 actor confirmed that he and Fox were no longer together on an episode of his own podcast in mid-May 2020.
He recalled feeling distant from Megan as she went out of the country to film Midnight in the Switchgrass and that her return only made the distance between them more evident.
‘She said, “I realized when I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience and I think that might be something worth trying for me,”‘ he recalled of an alleged conversation he’d had with his then-wife.
Though he was ‘shocked’ by Megan’s honest admission, they agreed to separate.
‘We’ve had an amazing relationship and I will always love her and I know she’ll always love me,’ Green remarked at the time, adding that they would co-parent amicably and make their three boys the focus.
During this time, Megan and MGK were captured on several occasions spending time together around Los Angeles.
They would further spark romance rumors after Megan appeared as the vixen in the music video for the singer’s hit single Bloody Valentine which premiered on YouTube on May 20, 2020.
After weeks of speculation, it was Machine Gun Kelly who confirmed their romance by referring to Fox as his ‘girlfriend’ in a tweet referencing his own lyrics.
‘”i’m calling you girlfriend, what the f***” life imitated art on that one,’ he wrote on June 15, 2020.
Megan and Machine Gun Kelly made their red carpet debut after six months of dating at the 2020 American Music Awards in November.
Since then, the couple have not shied away from showcasing their passionate love for one another with frequent PDA-packed social media posts and romantic getaways abroad.
