Meghan Markle has revealed how she went into a “calm space” on her wedding day and only wanted to eat croissants and drink mimosas.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s landmark Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, made a splash last week as the first three episodes were released.
Today the final set of episodes was released, where Meghan talked about her big day back in 2018.
She said: “All I wanted was a mimosa and a croissant and play the song "Going to the chapel" and that's what I did. It was so great.”
“I went into this really calm space, I don't know how I was so calm. I look back and I think, how was I so calm,” the 41 year old added.
Meghan also wanted to blast Going to the Chapel, while adding, “And that's what I did. And it was great.”
Since releasing last week, the show has become Netflix’s most-watched documentary in premiere week, pulling in a staggering 81.55 million hours viewed.
Naturally, the series has drawn criticism from loyal royal fans, and sources close to the Royal Family have hit back at some of the claims made.
During episode one, Harry bared his soul while talking about the media treatment of his late mum, Princess Diana, and how he and Prince William dealt with the attention.
The video then cuts to Martin Bashir’s infamous Panorama interview, which just last year was ruled as deceitful as Martin falsified bank documents.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond believes that the inclusion of the footage “pointedly hurtful.”
She told OK: "I think Harry and Meghan's decision to include Diana's Panorama interview was pointedly hurtful.
"To go against your brother's express wishes about your mother.
"He's not respected William's wishes. I doubt he phoned his brother and said 'By the way we're going to be using that clip'."
She added: "It's blatantly, openly and pointedly hurtful."
In another interview, Jennie said that she doesn’t believe King Charles will comment on the documentary unless it takes aim at Camilla.
"The three words that come to mind when I consider how the Royal Family must be feeling during the run-up to the release of the next three episodes are despairing, dismayed and disappointed," Jennie explained.
"They’ll be hurt and pained. Charles must be distraught that this is going on and on."
She continued to explain that commenting on the story “gives it legs” and that he’s more likely to address it in private, away from the public eye.
"You’d hope by now he’d have picked up the phone to Harry and said ‘Look son, why are you doing this?’. It was only recently that he referred to Harry as his ‘darling boy’. He must feel so hurt,” she added.
