Meghan Markle has been ‘driving force’ behind explosive Netflix series, claims insider

As fans eagerly await for the release of Harry & Meghan – the Duke and Duchess' explosive Netflix documentary series – an insider has claimed the TV project has been "driven" by Meghan, 41.

While we still may be waiting for the episodes to drop, the drama has already begun with the release of gripping teasers to promote the new series.

Social media users have been given a rare glimpse inside their Los Angeles home, with Prince Harry, 38, expressing how he needed to “protect his family” on camera.

And now, an insider close to the show, has claimed to The Sun: "Some of the comments made by Harry and Meghan are fiery. If aired, they will be absolutely explosive.

"The topic of racism is discussed — plus claims that some royals opposed the marriage. The whole TV project is very driven by Meghan."

They continued to reveal that the narrative is based on the angle of Harry feeling "neglected" by his family.

"Mental health features too, and discussion about Harry having therapy over the loss of his mother and his father’s relationship with Camilla," they said.

OK! has approached Meghan's representative for comment.

Netflix confirmed the series will be released on December 8, which takes a look into the intimate scenes of their lives together over the past few years.

In the latest clip, which teased the show, the Royal family on the balcony are seen at Buckingham Palace, while Harry says: “There’s a hierarchy of the family, you know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories. It’s a dirty game.”

The Duke then addresses the "pain and s uffering" of women marrying into the Royal family.

He adds: "The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy."

In the first clip which was released last week, Harry is asked why they wanted to make the documentary in the first place.

He replied: "I had to do everything I could to protect my family," before Meghan is seen wiping her tears away.

The Duchess later asks: "When the stakes are this high, does it make more sense to hear our story from us?"
