Melanie C lives up to her Sporty Spice name as she flaunts her washboard abs for solo gig at Camp Bestival
Mel C put on an energetic display as she took to the stage at Camp Bestival at Lulworth Castle in Dorset on Sunday.
The Spice Girl lived up to her Sporty name for her solo performance as she displayed her washboard abs while wearing an orange crop top with a plunging neckline.
Singer Melanie, 49, wore some black tracksuit bottoms emblazoned with a multi-coloured design featuring shapes including eyes, hearts and zigzags.
The pop star completed her look by wearing a pair of comfortable white trainers.
Her tattoos were on display, with her ‘Angel’ inking visible below her belly button, her cross on her left arm and a band on her upper right arm.

The performer was seen waving her arms in the air as she performed in a bid to whip the crowd into a frenzy and keep them entertained.
This was Melanie’s second festival performance of the week as she sung on day two of Kendal Calling at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District on Friday.
She wore a black and white Lacoste tracksuit for the event, with the star removing her jacket to reveal a matching bra top.
The ensemble left her toned stomach on show once again as she leapt about the stage.
Taking to Instagram after her gig, she wrote: ‘I have waited to play @kendalcalling for years, today I finally did it.
‘Words can not describe how it felt, what an incredible day.
‘Thank you for having me and to the amazing crowd, It’s sooo good to be back up North.’
It comes after Melanie’s Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham said she would not be reuniting with the band at Glastonbury next year following recent speculation.

It was claimed all five members of the group were set to reunite for a headline slot at the Worthy Farm festival in 2024 to mark the group’s 30th anniversary.
But a source close to Posh Spice insisted she would prefer to focus on her fashion label.
However, Victoria, 49, has not ruled out a separate ‘celebratory appearance’ with bandmates Geri Horner, Mel B, Melanie C and Emma Bunton, although she is not necessarily going to sing.
An insider told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ‘Glastonbury is possibly the coolest gig on the planet but Victoria won’t be doing it next year.
‘She has carved herself a career as a fashion designer that she has put blood, sweat and tears into, so singing is something she has to carefully consider.
‘She has sadly been hugely ridiculed when she has sung in the past.
‘She is a different person now. She looks back fondly on her years in the Spice Girls – they were very special for her – so she hasn’t ruled out a celebration, maybe, at some point.

Reunion: Reports had claimed all five original members would reunite in 2024 for a headline slot at Worthy Farm (L-R: Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie C of the Spice Girls perform on their tour in 2019)
‘And Glastonbury are not at all keen on having the group without Posh, it just doesn’t have the same pull.’
Victoria is due to take part in a documentary made by Star Wars director J.J. Abrams that will tell the story of the group’s rise to fame in the 1990s and will feature interviews and unseen material from their personal archives.
The star did not join the Spice Girls on their UK tour in 2019 and confessed that her choice not to take part required a lot of ‘courage’.
Victoria told Vogue: ‘It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: “You know, I’m not doing it because things feel different now than they used to.”‘
Hopes: A headline slot at next year’s Glastonbury had been one of the possible dates discussed and promoters were hopeful that Victoria would agree to join (L-R: Mel C, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner of the Spice Girls on tour in 2007)
