The Love Island 2022 contestants have been unveiled with just a week to go.
And 19-year-old Gemma Owen, who owns her own swimwear line, has been practicing posing on Instagram in beach attire ahead of her reality show debut.
The daughter to England football pro Michael Owen and his wife Louise Bonsall, admits she is a bit ‘fiery’ after posting bikini snaps for her 55.8 thousand followers.

Gemma will spend the summer lounging around in the Mallorca villa boosting her business and her own profile.
She has already warned potential suitors it will take ‘a while’ for her ‘guard to come down’ after admitting she is a ‘fiery’ and ‘quite protective’ meaning she doesn’t ‘fall in love quickly’.
Asked how her family and friends would describe her, she said: “I think they would say I’m very honest and a bit stubborn, straight up and a bit fiery. I can be quite protective.

Previously Gemma denied she was ever taking part in the series and that her famous dad ‘wouldn’t be very happy at all if I came back and said “I’m going on Love Island.”‘
She also previously revealed she was ‘not looking for love’ but Gemma has since changed her mind – no doubt leaving her father concerned about her signing.
It was previously reported by The Sun, that ITV2 were ‘scrambling’ to get Gemma for the dating show, but she hit back at the claims.

The source previously told the publication: ‘ITV bosses are scrambling to get her signed up for this year’s Love Island. However, if talks are successful, it’s likely to be a huge payday for Gemma too.
‘Weeks spent lounging about in a bikini is going to give her beachwear line the sort of boost most firms can only dream about and make her a huge star herself.’
Love Island producers confirmed to MailOnline that while food-eating challenges have been scrapped, sex is still on the menu, and they will assess each moment of pleasure between the Islanders on a case-by-case basis.

Asked by MailOnline if the 2022 series will show sex scenes unlike last year, executive producer Mike Spencer admitted there was no black out ban in place.
He said: ‘We don’t decide anything in advance. You just don’t know until you see the footage, genuinely, we are so reactive we are cutting around the clock.
‘If something happens, we are cutting it overnight so until you see something it is hard to make a judgment and you just have to go with what is right.
‘The show does get it right, it’s suggestive and funny, music is a massive thing, and we will continue to do that but until we see it it’s difficult to tell and it depends on who it is.’
Speaking on her announcement, Gemma said: ‘I am open to finding love, I’m wanting to have a really fun summer. I was seeing someone and then that didn’t work out so I thought, “Why not?”’

She says her competitive spirit will help her get what she wants from her summer of love, explaining: ‘Sport has always been a big thing for me and my family. My dad was a professional football player. I’ve competed for Great Britain in dressage since I was 11-years-old.
‘I’ve travelled all across Europe competing in big arenas in big competitions. I would say I’m very competitive. [When it comes to relationships] I will always go for what I want.
‘But at the same time, I’m not going to mess up something for someone who is in a proper relationship or get in the way of a couple if they have a genuine connection. I wouldn’t do anything to another girl that I wouldn’t be happy with them doing to me.
‘I would say I’m fun, flirty and fiery. I think I’m good at giving advice, I’m a good person to talk to, I’m very honest. If I want the same guy, I’d do it but in a nice respectful way.’
Love Island airs on ITV2 at 9:00pm from Monday, June 6th.
