Natalia Bryant pays tribute to late father Kobe Bryant at her high school graduation with loving message etched on her cap
Natalia Bryant, the oldest child of late basketball legend Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant, graduated from high school on Friday, June 4.
And in a heartfelt tribute, the 18-year-old kept the memory of her dad close to her heart by having one of his famous quotes inscribed on the border of her graduation cap.
‘Everything negative—pressure, challenges—is an opportunity for me to rise.’ – Dad,’ Natalia had written around a University Of Southern California emblem, which was a nod to the college she plans to attend in the fall.

The cap also included the letters ‘K’ and ‘G’ at the top and bottom of the diamond-shaped USC logo, in honor of the six-time LA Lakers champion and her late sister Gianna.
Natalia’s proud mother marked her daughter’s latest milestone by sharing several photos and a video on her Instagram page.
‘Daddy, Mommy, Gigi, Bianka, and Capri are so proud of you @nataliabryant!!! Vanessa, 39, wrote in the caption, along with a red heart emoji, in her first graduation post of the day.

The flurry of social media posts also included a short video of the moment Natalia walked the stage to accept her high school diploma.
‘Congratulations Natalia! We will ALL be with you every step of the way. @nataliabryant,’ the former model wrote in the caption of the clip.
About an hour later, Vanessa shared a sweet snap of mother and daughter snuggled up together at the graduation ceremony, and another showing the teenager flashing a big beaming smile as she held up her cap and diploma.
‘Yay! Congratulations Natalia!!!! @nataliabryant,’ her mom added.

Just before graduation day, Vanessa celebrated her daughter’s accomplishment by taking her girls to the Disney California Adventure Park.
Kobe and Gianna Bryant died on January 26, 2020 when the helicopter they were riding in crashed into the hills in the Calabasas region of Los Angeles. He was 41-years-old, and Gigi was only 13.
Seven other people, several of whom were Gianna’s young basketball teammates, also died in the crash.
