How can you treat hay fever?

Vaseline: Apply the jelly around the nose to trap pollen particles

Nasal filters: They make a physical barrier between the pollen particles and the nasal membrane

Air purifiers: The home appliances remove pollen particles from the air

Eye drops and tablets: They contain antihistamine to reduce inflammation

Immunotherapy: The process involves consuming the allergen over a number of years to build the body’s tolerance

She said in a video: ‘I wanted to see if everyone is enjoying the weather, because I’m not.

‘I can’t breathe. I can’t see hardly, and this hay fever is off the wall this year.

‘It’s not an enjoyable experience, and I’d like to pour Optrex into my eyes all day and get into a freshly-washed bed, which has been in the tumble dryer unfortunately, not on a line, which you should want. I want to go to sleep and wake up in October.

‘I’m going to try and go outside and enjoy the paddling pool with me children, but I’m at breaking point.’

Natalie held up a glass and wine and joked: ‘And apparently this doesn’t help hay fever either but oh well.’

It’s been a tough time of late for the actress, who is best known for her role as Sonia Fowler in EastEnders.

Last month, Natalie announced her father Charles died aged 84.

Sharing the heartbreaking news on Instagram, the EastEnders star explained his death was the reason ‘I’ve been very quiet the last few weeks’ and added: ‘I lost my precious daddy three weeks ago today.’

Sharing a photo of herself cuddled up to her dad, Natalie hailed her late father as being her ‘whole world’ and said, although she’s ‘not sure what I’m going to do without him,’ her family and friends have been ‘making it easier’.
