‘I wanted it to be right!’: Newlywed Rita Ora shows off her dazzling emerald ring for the first time and admits she picked it out herself

And for the first time, Rita Ora proudly showed off her rings as she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in New York City on Wednesday night.
The singer, 32, proudly flashed her dazzling emerald engagement ring and delicate gold wedding band after admitting she picked it out herself.
Speaking to host Jimmy, 48, she revealed: ‘It’s my first time showing my ring – I feel like you’re part of my relationship because we watch you every night – is that creepy?’
Asked if she had a hand in choosing the dazzling gem, Rita confessed: ‘I may have guided him in the right direction…’

She explained: ‘It’s when you know what you want! I knew I wanted to be with him and you want it to be really right so I may have taken him to the shop and pointed out exactly what ring I wanted!’
Rita – who looked sensational in an ab-flashing silver crop top and mini skirt – also revealed that her recent nuptials with Taika had inspired her upcoming album.
‘I’m so excited about this music because I feel like the journey it took me to get to this point, the past two years, my life has changed so drastically,’ she explained.
‘Making a decision to spend the rest of your life with someone is kind of a big decision and so it got me writing again.
‘I got inspired by love, even if it’s cheesy… This is more than just music, it’s a moment in life for me.’
While she may have inspired by her wedding, she used some artistic license for the music video for her new song, You Only Love Me, where she plays the ultimate Bridezilla.
She channeled the video to perform in the studio after her interview, showcasing her figure in a sexy bridal-inspired Versace number in a hot pink shade that complemented her complexion.
Not the traditional bride, she opted for a lace bodice babydoll dress that cinched in at her tiny waist and flared out into a thigh grazing hanky hem.

A dazzling diamond tiara, bracelet and necklace completed the look and gave it some sparkle.
The look paid homage to her new music video, which sees Rita getting ready for fictional wedding and sporting a stunning white gown and veil.

However, Rita recently dispelled any claims that the bridal gown was her actual wedding dress, after she finally confirmed that she has tied the knot with Taika Waititi.
During an appearance on The One Show, Rita said: ‘No it wasn’t actually the one that I wore!
‘It was fun to do a spin because it was my version of my inspirations – Edward Scissorhands, Heathers, Bridezilla – I’ve always wanted to play that character.’
Though it was not her actual wedding dress, Rita went on to speak about how her personal life influenced her single, admitting her latest track is her most ‘honest’.

She was speaking on Heart Radio Breakfast to promote her latest single shortly after posing topless to celebrate the release.
Rita said: ‘Yes [I am married]. I am officially off the market people. I chose to keep it more private and keep it to myself more but with my new video I am playing on what could have been’.
She continued: ‘When the rumours came out is she, isn’t she? I wanted to play on it. I wanted to do a wedding that didn’t go to plan… that’s not to say that is actually what happened.’
