Nicola Peltz shared this week her hopes to ‘save up money’ to purchase a home and put down some family roots with husband Brooklyn Beckham.

The heiress, 28, explained that the couple are hoping to raise children in Los Angeles due to work commitments, currently trying to gather up the funds for their ‘dream house’.

Coming from an extremely wealthy family, Nicola’s businessman father Nelson is thought to be worth a cool $2.7 billion (£2.2 billion), while her husband hails from the millionaire Beckham brood.

Talking to Cosmopolitan UK for it’s April/May issue, Nicola explained that she and Brooklyn, 24, would love to raise a family in New York City, but have decided to work towards an LA base.

She shared: ‘We did have a house in LA at one point, but we sold it because we were like, ‘Oh, we’re going to go to Florida for a while’. And then we’re like, ‘No, just kidding, we have to be in LA for work.’ It was so silly of us.’

‘And now we’re saving up money to get our dream house. But we both honestly love New York so much. If our work was there, we’d be there in five seconds,’ she continued.

Nicola is hoping to make her mark on Hollywood with a budding acting career, while Brooklyn is starting out as a chef.

The actress’ dad Nelson is an activist investor and made his fortune after co-founding investment firm Trian Fund Management.

Brooklyn is the eldest son to former footballer David and singer-turned-designer Victoria, who have a reported net worth of $450 million (£368 million).

Tying the knot last year, the young couple held their nuptials at Nelson’s lavish Palm Beach estate, which sprawls across 13 acres of land and looks out to the ocean.

Speaking on married life with the London native, Nicola shared during the interview: ‘We’re always there for each other. If we can’t be there physically, we’re texting or talking in some form. Communication is so important to both of us that there’s never any guessing.’

While focusing on building her career, she also admitted that the pair are hoping to welcome children in the future.

Continuing: ‘As an actor, you always have that dream role in mind or those dream people to work with. And I feel like I’m never going to stop.

She added of her relationship: ‘If we can’t be there physically, we’re texting or talking in some form. Communication is so important to both of us that there’s never any guessing’

‘I have so many things I would love to do. I think when I do them I’ll feel settled. And then I want to have a baby and get right back to work.’

Brooklyn and Nicola are thought to be living in a Los Angeles apartment, after selling the home they bought together.

They moved into their first house together in June 2021 while considering a move, with the property reportedly setting them back $10.5M.

Keeping their relationship strong with a close bond, Nicola shared that the pair are always together – wherever they are living.

‘We spend every night together. Sometimes my friends will come sleep over and we’ll all fall asleep on the couch, or they’ll stay in my bed and Brooklyn will go sleep in the other room. Even with work travel, we work around it,’ she said.
