Kim’s mother Kris Jenner – who took part in a few skits on SNL – was best friends Nicole Brown Simpson before she died.
In an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that aired in 2019, Kris got emotional talking about her late friend.
Fighting back tears Jenner said ‘I wasn’t going to cry,’ adding: ‘I think I’ve realized that I’ve latched onto the legal side of stuff, rather than deal with the emotional side of myself that just misses my girlfriend.’

Talking about the situation at the time, Jenner said that her heart ‘still breaks’ when she thinks about the alleged abuse Nicole suffered in the hands of ex-husband Simpson.
‘I saw all the pictures and the police reports, and I heard the tapes of her calling 911, and that was stuff I didn’t know anything about [at the time],’ she told Entertainment Weekly.
‘It’s wild that she kept that from us. So I feel bad. I beat myself up because I feel like I wasn’t paying attention. Like, How did I miss this?’
