North West, 9, is almost as tall as mum Kim Kardashian as pair pose in matching Chanel

Kim Kardashian's eldest daughter North West has shocked fans in Kim’s latest Instagram post as she is almost towering over her mum, despite being only nine years old.

North, who will be 10 next month, has three younger siblings; seven year old brother, Saint, five year old sister, Chicago, and four year old brother, Psalm.

In Kim's post that she shared on Friday, North looked all grown up as she posed with her 42 year old mum dressed head-to-toe in black Chanel clothing and accessories.

While it appeared that reality star Kim was wearing heeled boots, it looked like North was wearing flat shoes, showing just how tall the youngster is.

The mother-daughter duo had one arm around each other with a Chanel bag in their other hand and both donned stylish oversized sunglasses.

Mum-of-four Kim, who shared her kids with ex Kanye West, posted a series of sweet snaps with her daughter with the caption: “It’s North’s world, I’m just in it.”

Many followers were shocked to see how grown up North looked and also labelled the young Kardashian a "future trendsetter".

One fan commented: “I thought that was you and Kourtney for a sec!”, while another said “She’s getting so grown up! and so pretty”.

A third penned: “Future Trendsetter and global icon”, while another wrote: “She’s so tall for 9”.

However, some followers seemed outraged that North looked older than she really is, as one follower wrote: “Too young for that”, while another said: “She is only 9 why u making her grow up so quickly pipe it down a little”.

Kim's post comes after she was recently slammed for letting her daughters North and Chicago go live on TikTok.

Despite TikTok being reserved for individuals aged 13+, Kim joined her daughters who are both under 10 on the live social media app.

Thousands of fans quickly tuned in during the session where Kim allowed viewers to send her "gifts", which can be converted into actual money, despite being from a billionaire family.

Whilst many onlookers gifted stickers to the trio, some critics took the opportunity to slam the TV star for exposing her children to an app they're not old enough to use.

"Lost for words," one viewer commented. "Why do people gift them and does KK even know these gifts are worth $?"

Another hit out: "Why is she going live? That’s so weird considering the s**t people ALWAYS comment on Tiktok lives. TikTok is like the worst platform for kids, and she just puts her kids straight into the firing line."
