Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid, 50, couldn’t help but marvel over Jan Leeming’s ageless looks on the ITV show. Susanna got momentarily distracted by the former newsreader’s age-defying beauty before quizzing her on her time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2006.
The presenter took the time to congratulate 80-year-old Jan on looking so youthful.
Susanna gushed: “Jan, before we let you go, apart from congratulating you on the fact that you look nowhere near 80!
“Nowhere near 80!” The host exclaimed.
Jan seemed to appreciate the kind compliment, as she threw her head back and laughed while chatting to Susanna via a video link from her home.
Getting back on track with her interview questions, Susanna asked: “Would you mind taking a moment to just reflect on your time in the jungle?”
Fans seemed to share Susanna’s astonishment over Jan’s appearance.
GMB viewer Andy Clifford penned: “@GMB Don’t argue with Jan Leeming she’s a legend and looking great at 80.”
Twitter user Twin2 added: “@GMB how amazing does @Jan_Leeming look.
“Absolutely agree with her – a dog is a fab companion no matter what age you are x.”
Jan appeared on GMB to share her views on the argument that it’s selfish to own a dog later on in life.
Disagreeing with the statement, Jan pointed out how care is taken into matching older people with rescue dogs based on their abilities.
The star was also asked if she had any advice for this year’s I’m A Celeb contestants.

However, Jan explained that she doesn’t actually watch the ITV reality show.
She explained: “I have to say I don’t watch it for varying reasons, including the animals.
“But, tips? Just remember that you’re actually stronger than you realise,” she said.
Jan admitted she went on I’m A Celebrity for “purely financial reasons”.
Despite this fact, the star also said she learnt a lot about herself during her time on the gruelling show, which was set in Australia before the coronavirus pandemic.
“But, I’m not sure about the bugs and everything else these days,” she explained.
Jan also revealed she didn’t recognise many of the stars on the line-up this year, telling Susanna: “I don’t watch it also because apart from Richard [Madeley] and Arlene Phillips, I don’t watch soaps, I’m not a sports fan, I don’t watch breakfast television.
“So I don’t know any of the people on it,” she laughed.
