Pamela Anderson, 54, wears bridal white asymmetrical dress as she steps out ahead of Broadway debut… while ex Julian Assange marries Stella Morris inside high-security prison

The road from Baywatch to Broadway may well be unlikely, but Pamela Anderson proved it can be done as she made an appearance on Wednesday’s edition of Good Morning America. 

The actress, best known for her role as busty C.J Parker in the hit TV show, was on hand to talk about her forthcoming Broadway debut as the iconic Roxie Hart in Chicago. 

Pamela, 54, caught the eye in a form-fitting white asymmetrical dress as she made her way into the show’s bustling Times Square studio ahead of her interview. 

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic, jailed ex Julian Assange was preparing to marry fiancée Stella Morris – the mother of two children he secretly fathered within the walls of London’s Ecuadorian embassy – at Belmarsh high security prison.

Greeting onlookers with a smile, Pamela – who may well have sent her best wishes to Assange on his big day – revealed notably line free features while preparing for her latest TV appearance. 

She added to her look with a pair of clear plastic heels, while her signature blonde hair cascaded across one shoulder in tousled curls. 

The actress was on hand to discuss her new role as the fishnet clad Roxie – a character she recently insisted she’s been ‘rehearsing her whole life’ to play.

She recently told Vogue: ‘The story and my life are so parallel. I always say… 30 years of therapy or just one Broadway show, then I’ll be fine.

‘I feel like it’s a really empowering story – it’s time. I’m doing it for a lot of reasons, I have my whole life to draw from.’ 

A central character in Maurine Dallas Watkins’ hit musical, Roxie is a feisty socialite whose lofty dream of making it as as an actress is derailed before she embarks on a loveless marriage, and illicit affair and a high-profile court case.

Assange, who is facing extradition to the United States on espionage charges, will wed Stella Moriss, 38, in front of four guests and two witnesses on Wednesday afternoon.

Dame Vivienne Westwood has designed Stella’s wedding dress and a kilt for Australian-born Assange, whose parents are of Scottish extraction. 

The limit on guests means that one of the WikiLeaks founder’s guard will also have to act as the wedding snapper.

Baywatch star Pamela has previously spoken out in support of Assange and met him on several occasions when he lived at the Ecuadorean embassy prior to his arrest in 2019. 

She was also among Assange’s first visitors following his imprisonment at Belmarsh, with the actress making an unlikely appearance at the notoriously tough prison complex that May. 

‘He does not deserve to be in a supermax prison. He has never committed a violent act. He is an innocent person,’ she told reporters after visiting Assange.

Pamela revealed that he has no access to information, is ‘really cut off from everybody’ and has not been able to speak to his children.

‘He is a good man, he is an incredible person. I love him, I can’t imagine what he has been going through,’ she added.

‘It was great to see him, but this is just misrule of law in operation. It is absolute shock that he has not been able to get out of his cell.

‘It is going to be a long fight and he deserves our support. He needs our support, so whatever anyone can do – maybe write to him, encourage him. 

‘We just have to keep fighting, because it is unfair. He has sacrificed so much to bring the truth out and we deserve the truth.’
